Hi,

I know whtere have been some threads here about macbook pros running VG, except most of them that stated that they could run VG (through bootcamp) have the second generation macbook pros (core 2 duo).

I have the first macbook pro with these specs:
(will be using vista)
2.0 ghz intel core duo
2 Gb ram
Ati radeon x1600 gddr3 sd ram 256 mb i believe.

Do you think I will be able to run it on medium settings or so with decent framerate? Thanks.

From what I am hearing, I think you will be ok.

You have 2GB of RAM and it appears that ATI cards work better than NVIDIA

I am purchasing a mac pro desktop today or tomorrow, and hope to have vanguard in a week or so, I will be sure to let everyone know my experiences with it. I dont know anyone else yet on here who uses a mac

I am currently running the 2.8GHz one with 1.5 gigs of ram and same card but with 512 and it works almost on high quality. So I think you should be fine.

Hell, before I upgraded because power supply fried my MB I was running an AMD Sempron 3000+ (2.0 GHz) with 1.5 gigs of ram and 9600 Pro w/256 and I was able to play it on low setting (I could not gone one notch up but I wanted to be faster)
