I keep seeing posts on "server merge" this, and "low population" that, but the fact of the matter is Woefeather was PACKED last night in the mid-teen levels. It ALMOST made me want instances. No matter where I went, there was a group. In KE, there were about 10 groups down there, and at one point in time there were 5 full groups running down at the same time - so much so I had to drop my performance settings down. Same thing in the Stonemasher(sp?) Enclave. Same thing in all the little mini camps.
Same thing happened in the Riftseekers a couple days ago. I rerolled a new class and went went from 0-16 this weekend, so I was able to sample all the areas again. The lower level stuff is highly populated. I just think that the people who are saying they can't find a group must be the high level people who have leveled themselves out of the curve. Either that, or everyone plays on Thestra.

Shidreth was like this too, at least in the 8-12ish areas on Thestra. Half the quests I tried to do were extremely camped. I dont mind though, its a good sign but I was thinking about comments I have seen about server merges and thought that would be rather silly given that I already had to wait in line for kills.

Yeah, Woefeather is pretty crowded at times, which can be very frustrating in areas like the spider cave north of Veskals where the pop rate is pretty slow.. I think I see it get faster though as I move to higher levelled areas..
At that point my only frustration comes from the fact that my computer only has 1gb of ram.

Yup, Woefeather is doing great, even with people growing into their mid-twenties and expanding outward. PUG's are common.

Where were you in KE? I spent nearly all day there both Saturday and Sunday and never saw more than maybe one or two groups in the upper levels, and never more than one other group in the lower levels, and even then they generally left after we had to res them because of the difficulty. Basically it felt like the group I was in was pretty much the only group in the lower levels for 99% of the time (which made things pure hell at times given the screwed up aggro). And when we weren't most of the other group did nothing but get us trained and nearly wiped because they were idiots.
But I do agree there is no need for server merges and that it was busy this weekend.

i was one that said the server populations may be a little low - during peek times it's great, and even during off peak if im in a city i see people - my only concern is grouping.

Sundays are peak time. Most people are off work and most people happen to be at home not out doing things like fri/sat night.
But yes the servers are lively and doing well!
I'll throw my hat in there with Flamehammer. A week ago, I would see a hand full of people, now It's hard not to run into someone. I believe saturday night the server was reading "High".

It was around 4pm est. On the run in, there were four or five full groups all running down at the same time (spider area). Once we got to the bottom, there were a couple groups in the bugbear area. We stayed in the bugbear area to finish up the quests. At one point we ran to the elevator, and there were two groups their waiting to go down.

Gelenia seems quite busy at peak times, the starting zones especially. In a couple of months i think we will have a more accurate picture of how busy the servers are. Right now will probably be the busiest time i think, as the vast majority of players are all in a relatively small level range.

Hilsbury Server is a happening place. More and more people are reaching the teens+ and slowly working there way throughout the world.
