There has to come a point when you ask yourself the following:

Are you unhappy playing most of the time?

Do you make whine posts on the boards?

Do you feel something is owed to you?

Do you log on each night and expect to get something with no effort?

Do you die and feel its a waste of time to get your tombstone?

Do you feel XP loss is too great?

Do you feel XP gain is too slow?

Do you despise the large world and hate having to travel yourself?

--------Now for the positive things to ask yourself

Do you enjoy the thrill of dangerous dungeons? Dying there has a big consequence! So lets concentrate and enjoy the adrenaline rush knowing death could be around the next corner :)

Do you enjoy levels taking longer so content doesnt speed by? Making the game longer. Which is what a MMORPG is all about. Making a level mean something again.

Do you deal with corpse runs because they put a real penalty in the game? Which in turn makes fighting more intense?

Do you like the huge world and not being instantly teleported from point A. to point B. So you actually feel like you're in a world and traveled some where?

Do you log on and realize my play time is what I make it, I must go out and find my adventure?

Do you think about VG a good deal and cant wait to play?

Do you find your over-all play time fun and makes you happy?

------

If you answered No to most of the top half and Yes to most of the bottom half then VG is for you!

If the reverse, then perhaps move on. Save people who enjoy the game from being brought down by your negativity.

Well fine, repeat everything over again, just seems pointless to me. How many people do you need to tell you what the game is?

I don't understand why if you thougth it was useless you felt the need to post on it to tell someone its useless other than just passing on by.

First of all how many threads on this forum are actually *needed*. Never-the-less to me it was.

Secondly, your reply was neither hurtful nor helpful. Did nothing constructive but bumped my thread.. Its fine to disagree, everyone is entitled to that. Just not sure if your reply was needed ;)

I've been havin a blast. Yeah, I'll hit a rough spot or two along the way, but the good has always out weighed the bad thus far. A good friend of mine started playing a few days ago and I rolled a new character to level with him. I ran all the way from Khal to Lomshir (hell of a run!) and got to see some really cool things, that I haven't noticed before.

I've been to Lomshir just in passing before and had run by the wrecked ship, but my friend had been lvling in the area and told me he found a temple under the ship. So, we grouped up and two maned the temple and had a blast. The fact that there was a demonic temple under a sunken ship, just adds that much more the gaming experience. Makes you wonder what other little things are hiding in the game waiting to be explored.

Love these posts of "like it or leave it". Ever think some of us, who some may say post whine posts, actually love the game but think it can be better? Some of us actually believe in the ideal of striving for perfection after all. Input is valuable and if everyone just "liked it or left it" games would never be improved, but then some can't see past their own fanatical appreciation of the game to think of it as nothing more than a "product".

And Yes I am one of those that think XP is too slow in certain instances. When I can get tremendously more XP doing "missives" than I can doing quests in a dungeon crawl across the same amount of time XP is wonky.

That's fine, and my reply was not meant to be hurtful, but you must have seen the other threads which have said exactly the same things already? That's why i don't think it's necessary to make new threads that don't say anything new.
