Who are looking at buying this game, i would recommend holding of a good few months unless you are the type whoam enjoy the EQ dungeon style. Right now i have seen four groups waiting for various spawns so they can complete there quests in the ToD. If this is a taste of things to come then I really am not looking fowards to leveling. The advanced encounter system is a joke, I have seen hide no hair of it other than a bunch of scripts setting up a locked mob, Sounds about right you say ?, not when you have to wait hours for said mobs to respawn. It is the same mistakes all over again and not one person from Sigil can see it.

The crafting in this game is great in a functional type of way, but it really is no where near finished, complications are so frequent that one would think you are the worst person to ever lay eyes on a plan. If they are aiming for realism then they fail completely, coming from a trade in Electroplating i can say with all honesty if I had that many things go wrong with my work, I would be fired before the day was out. Just before any of you butt in with witty comments, I have my station skill at 190 and I'm a lvl 17 crafter.

Now i suppose for my biggest complaint of all, since i have started playing three days before the release there have been no end of social server bugs, glitches and just straight up weird shit that happens when you are in a group who may be outside of your current chunk zone. I would have honestly thought that the social mechanics would be first priority in this games development, because with no group you are sailing down stream with no paddle so to speak. Now it has been five days with no patch, i can only assume one of two things, there is going to be the mother of all patches for this 17gig game or there will be no patches for a long time come. I just hope when they do patch it isn't to buff rangers forage ability.

This isn't a "I'm leaving buhu" post, I'm just really pissed off that i was expecting so much from the game, and in return i was given a half assed rehash of EQ2 for my money, i will continue to play the game but i am taking a break till some of the glaring issues are fixed.

Have fun! this won't be Vapor ware and i expect it to peak easily 200K + subs in it's first year, because right now most people are having fun >Playing< the game which in my opinion is far from fail.

When Sigil gets time to polish and refine the massive world and we are all flying around on mounts and the latest batch of newbs come into the game, take a look at us flying around on griffons with swords of pwn they will think "dam what a bitching game, i can't wait to get that stuff", that is my general impression anyways.

I cant see this game hitting huge scores of players. But as long as its got 100k or so. Thats more than enough to keep us all finding groups.

Um, you couldn't find a camel, and CC should have diminishing returns. Okay...still wondering what happend in six days.

Ahh about the camel, had one for a while now :9, guess you didn't catch the Ahkbar bit huh .... humor dosn't travel well on the internet so i heard. Why should there be no diminishing returns, do all you have to add is random crap or are you trying to discredit valid points by posting in green ?. Has anything i have posted here have no validity or are you just bored and up for a good flame fest ?.

I take it you missed the whole, posting in colors thread. Other than the fact that i totally disagree with you about crafting and i honestly can't fathom anyone complaining about the fact that there haven't been patches over the weekend, i'm honestly wondering what happend in six days to take you from someone who understands the fact that all launches have bugs and seemd to believe that things will work out to the post above.

And why do people feel the need to share everytime they quit something?
If you quit your job do you go to a forum and tell everybody not to get a job cause they suck,post all your reasons that the majority probably skim right past to the end.You have brought no new info to the table,You claim you are "Informing" people of what they are getting into???
THe only information here is you are not satisfied and thats fine,nothing wrong with that,but its also useless for every one that quits to write a 4 page novel about it.
I KNOW THERE IS BUGS I PLAY THE F****ING GAME AS WELL
I am shure you want a flood of sympathy posts and for people to tell you the game sucks and you are doing the right thing and how smart you are for finding all these things and to validate your decision.

Yip missed the posting in colors part.

Okay you seem to be serious about finding what has happend in 6 days.

I will try my best to be literate so stay with me, I didn't mind the social bugs at first, the guild chat has been fixed, the guild invite issue has been sorted, XP has been modified to slow down the level curve, all great things and some have been major issue fixes. I came to this game under the impression that dungeons would not be like EQ, and for the most part they where not, i moved very quickly during the early days and was able to blow through most of the lower level dungeons and not encounter the back log i have seen over the last few days.

So here comes the change in direction, First taste was the Hive, on our way to kill the queen we may have been two three pulls from her and we get hit by 8 mobs out of the walls, i think okay no problem these things happen, accept my Debt and off i go.

Moving right along now, we hit the Qa river bank eastern side to the temple of Dailuk, Mobs where reduced to two dot they where three in beta, "Whats the problem then" you ask ?. Chain stunning Tortise .. the entire river bank will be pulled if you try to pull a single one, three attempts at corpse retrival on a chunk line i give up and moved on to the next series of adventures. Heading into some dungeon not far from the refugee camp, full of gnomes, awesome i loved the dungeon had alot of fun, then, same problem, Gnomes attack from inside the walls. Head back to get our gear find another group inside they manage to train a hallway on to us, we die again. All part of the game.

Manage to complete the quests no boss spawns at all the entire dungeon was devoid of a worth while drop, in a sense we would have been better off grinding 2 dot 3 dot world mobs. No problem, but didn't someone at least TEST this dungeon for obvious flaws, it seemed like alot of mobs where placed in this area with no rhyme or reason.

Moving right along to the temple of Dialuk, nice place, mobs dissapere through the floor, group members get kicked from your group mid fight, the quest chain that is supposed to trigger the advanced encounter system dosn't work. It is flat out broken. To top this off they add new quests a few days later and one of them dosn't even work, Why add something if it dosn't work to begin with ?.

This is just the dungeon side of things .. i really will make a very long post if i move on to grouping and be much more presice on what i have seen over these last few days in Low level dungeons, i dread to think what the higher ones will be like since they have been given no attention at all.

This is what i did not expect, i expected there to be flaws, not a complete hash of a job. 5 days is not a weekend by the way ....

No i want this game to work correctly, i want people to know they are getting a raw deal, i don't want to quit the game. I don't think i am smart, i can't even type proparly ... dude people complain about my post and i look at stuff like this ...

And there is the novel I was talking about...You were just itching for someone to "Care" werent you?.I am shure we will see aprox 14 more pages of why you quiting this game is sooo important wont we...

I am just tired of the loong posts about "Why I quit"
We all know there is issues.Most of us here play the game.It just seems like a rehash over and over again type cycle with them thats all.Bugs and issues need to be talked about but its so negative and counter constuctive sometimes that I get "Negative myself"

Agree, they should fix the annoying bugs. Stuff like changing character appearance should never happen. Vanishing items, problems with groups...

content and graphics are USELESS unless you have reliable base.

You mean annoying bugs like people leveling to 30 in a matter of hours because of a quest exploit that finally gets fixed, but the one that people can level very rapidly in crafting because of the exact same type of bug is still in the game? I'm starting to think they're just in over their heads and CAN'T make any progress at this point fixing the game.

I'm starting to think they're just in over their heads and CAN'T make any progress at this point fixing the game.

My sanity is at it's end ... i really ... really feel hacked off, FFS dose not cover the anger i have felt in the last few days, and lets be realistic, i am angry, why would i have made such a post if i wasn't ?.

Seems Pink is my zen .... scarey
