for a copy of the Super-Ultra-Duper Collector's Edition of Vanguard? It comes with a cloth map, an interactive map, and a signed picture of one of the Devs with a key code that unlocks a special feature. The special feature is that every time you die you get hit in the groin by a baseball bat wielded by the dev whose picture you got.

One of the topics mentioned something about being stabbed in the nuts. And now a topic about being hit with a baseball bat. No, I would not pay $5,000 for that version of Vanguard ;).

For those of you not aware, Sigil has been testing a new way of penalizing players for deaths in VG.

Below is a video of such testing conducted at Sigil's Tokyo division.

The 5 individuals tested were those developers who had the highest death count during a specific time frame.

According to top secret Sigil documents, these "Penalty" stations will be stratgically deployed throughout the US, with players being forced to participate to continue gameplay.

It was not a Care Bear convention. It was a fancy dress party. Get the facts right before you try to make me look the fool!.

(I will quit posting in this topic before you reveal anymore of my secrets)

Golly and here I was hoping for the Super-Ultra-Duper Collector's Edition of Vanguard with a cloth map, an interactive map, and a signed picture of one of the Devs with a key code that unlocks a special feature. The special feature is that every time you die you get hit in the groin by a baseball bat with an embedded rusty dagger dripping with day old spooge drawn from the groin of the nastiest who-er in the San Diego area wielded by the dev whose picture you got

Wouldn't be that hard to implement really. Although it would have to be done with a set of electrodes connected to your PC through a USB port.
