I wouldn't dare check "Killable things" now and be branded for life. Okay, I admit it--I enjoy killing pixels. Does that make me a violent and bad person? I don't THINK so. But that is a rant for another day (if you're wondering where I was going with this one, read Oloh's article, Kill Bill! (http://www.silkyvenom.com/forums/showthread.php?t=96)).

Okay, I picked Playable Race List. I am a people person, first, foremost and always. I am also a bit of a loner. Somehow the two don't seem to quite mesh, but I have never been able to figure me out altogether *shrug*

Anyhow, I want to know all about the characters who will play in this game--where they live, what their characteristics are like, who their gods are, what they eat, what kind of professions they have and why is it particular to that race. I especially want to know more about the Half Giants and the Vulmanes. :D

I picked screenshots. I've had a sneaking suspicion for quite a while that the screenshots we have been getting are from much earlier in development. I want to see some screenshots they took ingame yesterday. I think there might be some differences.

It's a close race between race list and class list for me, but I picked class.
The #1 biggest choice that effects your character is class, so I figured that'd be the most important infoz.

A mix of race list and screenshots would be good, since I don't know if I'll actually be playing a game until I know more about the possible avatars. Previous game experience has taught me....first find out if I will look good or look ugly in the game, and THEN decide whether to get excited about it. :rolleyes:

I chose UI screenshots.

Mainly because I'm really interested in how the game plays. To me, playable classes/races, pretty graphics, creatures in the world, and even the lore would all be fantastic information. And be things that I could create a mental picture of what the experience of playing the game is like. But the UI gives me something that feels more concrete. It's less ethereal in concept. It shows me one thing that will be on my screen every time I log in, regardless of all other factors in the game.

... and maybe it gives plenty of juicy tidbits to debate :)

Classes.

I like to read about the various classes, and then get cool heroic move-like images of me slaying monsters in my head as the classes.

Plus it gives us more insight and depth into how Vanguard may play.

I wanted to put classes, but then I realized that it would suck to get a list of classes, but with no idea of what those classes can do or whatnot. Especially since they're making a 3rd gen mmog, I'd assume there's going to be new roles for classes outside of our traditional thinking, and I'd be all ticked off to have this list of classes that I have no idea what can do (or even what they mean, if there's new 'class types' that I've never seen before). So I ended up picking screenshots, because I do want to see what they've done with the engine and art so far. Hopefully, some of those screenshots will include screenshots of what kind of character customization we'll have available to us :P

I looked at the poll list and the things I most want to know weren't on it: beta date and release date!!!! Grin.

So I picked lore. Why? Because, it feels like it is nearly time to make enough of the lore outline available for the community members to rev up their imaginations and creative responses.
