I see they've increased the mana on healing.. pretty unnecessary imo. I really can't believe they haven't figured out a way to balance healing in PvP.
Balancing healing in PvP sounds pretty simple to me.. they could either remove the PvP damage reduction, or reduce it by 25 or 30%.. and just make it so no one ability/spell can do more than 40% of someone's health.
Woolah, people actually stand a chance against healers now and group fights involving more than 2 healers don't last 40 minutes in an endless stalemate.
What do you guys think?

The only problem I foresee is the dmg we do will be adjusted to content as we level. Mobs allready have 6 times the HP i do as a tank and my damage is steadily going up. Im wondering if at some point with the right gear I wont be hitting for 5k a swat..... then I would say that needed to be toned down vs pvp. Hard to say atm tho.
The ranger heal I felt was hardly part of the issue.... but the healer base are just insane and a cleric could probably solo 3 melees if they didnt run. Mana cost increase was probably needed anyways... some content is too easy with how much healing we have atm.

Or you could just install an "I WIN" button for all healers.
Ya, that'd do it.
Wtf happened to people that made up the core of fans for this game? 2 years ago people were LOVING the fact that this game was gonna be hard, now every time something is implemented to make it harder you whine like little girls.

Was that directed at me? I don't want the game to be ez mode, infact when I saw they had dubbed down a few mobs (ie. wolf run speed, spiders, etc.) I was kind of upset. I loved the fact that if you ****ed with the wrong wolf he'd eat your ass and you didn't have a chance at outrunning him. However, there's a difference between tough and overpowered, as well as there is a difference between difficult and tedious.
I keep hoping that the weapons and abilities we get once we hit max level will even things out.. but currently things are horridly unbalanced. As someone said a cleric could probably solo 3 melees with the current damage/healing system.. thats not "hard" thats overpowered imo.
But ok, say we do get uber weapon damage at higher level.. that would pose a problem in itself if melees could go around one shotting folks. I don't want things to be easy, but I do want them to be balanced.
Besides, if melee damage in PvP was increased, wouldn't that make things "harder", as you want them, for the healer? :)

Would it really be that hard to have the non healer classes do more damage than the healing ones in pvp? Should balance it a little, right?

As of now, non-healing classes DO have more damage in PvP than healing classes. That's not all it takes to balance things though (seeing as how healers can..well...heal). I think it will take a general increase of PvP damage across the board done by non-healing classes along with a slight decrease in damage done by healers.
