Easy skill-up early on in Khal

The crafting utilities vendor in the crafting hall in Khal (or the supplies guy, one of the two) is a worthless level 50 diplomat. If you feed him flattery, or really no more than 1 point of anything else, he will listen to you talk all day long.

Play 1 card to get the marker to your side, and dont feed him too much of anything but flattery, and you can farm this guy for an easy skill up and lots of hearsays to close the gap between the level 75 and up diplomats.

I'm sure many know about this, but I just wanted to throw this out there for any struggling diplomats... the early parts of civic diplomacy can be pretty tough and often discouraging.

Thats a good tip. Another thing that I eventually figured out is that npc's play with the same cards for any type of parley, so if you run into one with strong demand cards you can choose a parley without demand and just run 'em over no problem.
