I'm sitting here and my family is wondering why I'm laughing so loud, I have to show this to everyone I know. This is the funniest $#!% ever. This is the third time I have seen a parent publicly ground their child on WoW forums. Whether this is for good or bad, this is hilarious.

Totally funny. Had to send link to my daughter (even though she's all grown up now) .... we both were laughing so hard.

That was awesome! Mothers really know how to scare/embarrass the &%!* out of their kids sometimes, just pure genius!

On shadowsong a while ago, a player was labelled as a ninja looter on the forums, and the parent came on and grounded the child for a month with no WoW for being a ninja-looter. I've never seen so many "wtfpwn" responses. It sparked a huge debate over whether kids should be allowed to play or whether parents should let them, etc....but the original thread was SOO funny.

:D Having 4 sons who all game that was hilarious. My 3rd son played EQ for a time with my husband and I and was even in our guild, luckily I never had to embarass him like that

Yeah, thats just awesome. Moms ftw. The thing I find most interesting though, is how pop icons are born on the internet. Whether it goatse or lime party or something more "innocent" like this (there are lots more of course), I just find it fascinating.

I'm going to whack my son with a fly-swatter if he ever gets addicted to gaming enough to be up at 3 am posting away on a gaming forum.

I'm only 22 and very much single for the next 4-5 years, but that's the idea...

Bringing up kids like this must be a nightmare.

And yes, i've had my all night gaming/posting sessions

Reason # 739238 i'm gonna do my best to not get married. What if it's freaking genetic or something

ROFL that was just too funny! My girls so far have not expressed a huge intrest in playing but do occasional mess with one of my low level alts. They are 9 and 10. To be honest as a teenager if used in moderation I would much rather have them home playing online with me then running all over town with who knows who. Least you know where they are if they are home :)
