hello,

i´m confused. i dinged 18 yesterday and got my first life ward. i thought i knew how it worked, but some strange things happened.

as far as i understand the life ward "absorbs" max 50 dmg per hit (500 total - so it´s basically a +500 hp buff). lets say a mob hits me for 30, the ward absorbs 30 dmg. if a mob hits me for 60, i only take 10 dmg. is that correct?

yesterday i got hit by a lowlvl mob, the ward was still running and i took 50 dmg. this is weird, because i don´t think a lowlvl mob is able to hit someone for 100 dmg. very confusing.

The ward heals you for 50 after you get hit.

You have 1000 hitpoints.
Mob hits you for 100.
You have 900 hitpoints.
Lifeward heals you for 50.
You have 950 hitpoints.
The heal is instant so you don't see it, and if you turn on the "Show Beneficial" interface option that shows healing done, It doesn't show either.
