Greetings!
We encourage all players to use /bug in game so that we may better address specific issues. However, if you're unable to play, or do not want to log into your account again for whatever reason please post the following information to assist us in isolating a cause and creating a solution. For all Crafting/Diplomacy/Class/Quest bugs please use /bug DO NOT post them here. The information we collect here as well as in bug reports is extremely important, we ask that you only provide the information requested in your post following the form below. Issues we're currently aware of that do not need to be reported unless specific information is requested:
- NPC's/Creatures Disappearing/Warping
- Crashes, especially on 8800 series and due to memory problems/"leaks"

Issue: Unable to cross most of the chunks - keep getting booted to char select.
Server Name: Florendyl, Infenium, Gelenia, Beta server 5... - atm I'm playing on Gelenia

Location (Chunk): Especially the areas around Khal and Ca'ial Brael. Didn't play on many other chunks. In the case of my newest char - Adilia on Gelenia - it happens between the Tawar and Ca'ial Brael chunks.

Well yes, it happened to me on all the listed servers. All of my characters have had these issues except for my dwarf toon which was on Infenium EU and was able to chunk to most zones surrounding Bordinar's Cleft (like Three Rivers, Tursh and Leth Nurae).
Most of the other chars were either Wood Elfs or the humans that spawn near Khal - forgot the exact name of that race :o .
Edit: Unfortunatly it's getting late and I'm tired (GMT+1 here), I'll check back tomorrow morning, which should be around midnight PST, to see if I can supply you any more info.

Adilia: Are you able to run a tracert on the chunk you can't connect too? Address appears to be AMSVGO-01-18.vanguardsoh.net
(to run tracert, go to start menu->run type cmd and press enter. At the prompt type 'tracert AMSVGO-01-18.vanguardsoh.net' without the quotes and press enter)

I'm stuck at 100 in Quarrying (and have been so for the last few days), even though I have bought the Amateur book for Quarrying and read it, gotten the message that tells me that I've learned a new level, bought better tools. I go around and hammer on Slate, lots of slate, but the skill simply will not go up.
I've petitioned this ingame twice, and I've also sent a bug-report in game. So far no help on this matter though.
I've spoken to some of my guildmates, and they have advanced above 100, doing the exact same things as me. So, is there any chance I can get any help with this?

Earlier yesterday evening I started with 1% of level 21 completed. During my actions to complete the apprentice quest exp. rose to 7%. I then had a crash that moved me far out into the water, and when I logged in the first time my character had no items, no skills and no guild. I logged out and logged in again, and all items/skills where back.
However later in the evening when I went back to do the last part of the quest I noticed that my crafter exp was at 0% for level 21.
Initially I thought this was a display bug, but when I did some additional crafting experience rose to 2%, so it seems that I really did lose my progress into level 21.

Issue: Have been working on the Ulaar, The Blade of Anguish quest...and went to do the next-to-last step where you turn-in the Quest Piece from the generals to the Spector of Lord Tsang. It then gave me the next-to-last Ulaar dagger, but won't give me the final step of the quest where you have to go to Coastal Graveyard and retrieve a piece from underwater. So basically I am stuck with a not-fully-upgraded dagger, and the Spector won't give me the last quest to finish it. This is a definite known issue on other forums, but I haven't heard anything from Sigil about this.
The current "workaround" is to find someone else that is on the last step of the quest...and group up with them and have them share the quest with you. Then you can go pick up the piece in CG and finish the quest with the Spector. (Good luck finding someone on that last step since its a simple right-click to finish it...so everyone usually goes and does it right away)

as of yesterday Feb the 20th no matter how many work orders I do my level is not showing any gains and my skills points are no longer going down in any of the catogories..I have made a bug report but thought Id do one here also in case theres a problem with my character..this is only hapening with my char while doing Artificier..I have logged other chars doing outfitter and they work fine..Im a level 8 artificier and I seem to be stuck there not gaining in any of the catogories..It hapened all at once last evening and as not reverted itself..TY

VG client locks up purchasing items from Exchange Broker. Steps to reproduce:
1. Input search on broker that will turn up more than 200 entries.
2. Buy an item off that list.
3. VG client will lock up once item is bought and it attempts to refresh the list.
There is no way of getting out of it except for a system reset.

I've generally not had an issue, occasionally there may be some lag in swapping. However you can setup a macro such as:
/remove "Name of Primary"
/remove "Name of Off-hand"
/wear "Name of Instrument"
and reverse for equipping weapons (you may have to click multiple times to get the final change, but it's less than a second in general :)). Hope that helps!

Is there a way to macro equipping 2 weapons of the same name? I have
/wear "Wep1" primaryhand
/wear "Wep2" secondaryhand
but it equips Wep1 then moves Wep1 to secondary when I hit the macro. Any way to adjust the logic so that it looks in inventory before equipped items when using the /wear command?

PS: Also submitted this issue with SOE tech support and will follow their advise to run the game in 1024x768 instead of 1680x1050 to see if it prevent's me from crashing BUT thing you would aggree that this isn't a real solution, my 22'' monitor and the beauty of Vanguard is just asking for a higher resolution:). Will reply to my post if it seems to help and i hope someday soon i can play Vanguard in 1680x1050 stable for more than a few hours.

I had someone move my /corpse because apparently I died on a a trap. After he moved me he rez'd me and then I fell through the earth. I had to /release to stop falling and now my tombstone is gone with 10% XP. Very annoying...

I'm playing on Gulgrethor, which went down last night around 22:00 EST. When I logged in this morning:
1) I can't craft because I receive the "Missing Tool" message for all work orders. I have the tools, etc., and have tried re-equipping them and several other thoughts. I had been crafting a work order at the time of the crash.
2) I recently (yesterday) moved from Thestra to Qalia. When I checked a bank at the Refugee Camp in Qalia, it had my Thestran bank contents in it. The bank in Khal had the correct Qalian bank contents.
3) I cannot see regional chat, although I can type to it (have received tells to that indication through others who can see it).
4) After swimming through a river, the "Breath" meter has been permanently splashed across the screen.

Issue: half the time (literally) I log in I spawn high up in the air, from where I fall to death. At the same time my main bar doesn't show up and a lot of items are bugged and/or disappearing. I.e.: It tells me my mount is a broken item and when I dragged the horseshoes from my char screen to my bags, they simply disappeared. When I restart the VG client and log in everything is working normally, except that I lost XP because I died. Though the place where I fall to death appears to be quite random, I seem to be able to recover my tombstone (both by running there or from the altar). So every "first" time I log in I fall to death with a totally bugged client and when I restart the client everything works fine again.

Altough the quests I did last time I played are not reset and also any changes in weapon skills remained the same, my crafting skill, which I trained from 0 to 4 in my last session has reset to 0.

The contents of my bags reset to how they were when I first crashed today. Well... partly. Some of the quest items I used this morning re-appeared aswell as some vendor stuff but I also found some of the blacksmithing tools. My crafting skill is gone but the equipment I used is still in my bags. It's quite a mixed up mess.
Yes... I tried to contact a GM about it but well... maybe I'll get a response next week :twisted: :D

TOON IS BROKEN: posted this is other spots..but this is Day 2 and i have no solution: /cry..omg help.
I had 4 pieces of Kojan Nickel armor made up and mailed to me.
At 1st...i could not equip it. I was at Renton Keep btw. Then all of a sudden, i could equip all but the boots. No special dusts were used...just STR ones i believe.
Now i cannot equip ANYTHING in my feet slot, and there are no graphics showing up on any on the Kojan armor.
*This is new....My hit points are cycling from 1504, up to 1674 over and over. Even if i replace all my new armor with the old stuff. It wont stop. My toon is completely borked and /petition isnt getting me any response. I have no clue what to do. I have done a Full File scan and all that but nada. Renamed .ini file too..nothing.
That fact that my Feet slot isn't equipable concerns me the most. But lack of graphics is also wierd. It's like i dont have it on....but i do.

This bug affects all light fighter classes on Tanvu. The line of quests that deal with Jin culminates in a quest called Choose your Path. In this quest you must pick between Rai'jin (negative) or Lao'jin (positive) energy. After you choose a spirit is summoned that you defeat completing the quest. Afterwards you return to Master Fallon who awards you a nice tunic.
The problem is when a light fighter class tries to complete the quest no spirit is summoned...no fight ensues so the quest cant be completed. Ive discussed this with many of each of the light fighter classes and none of them could complete it. I watched members of the other 3 archtypes walk right up and compete it but none of the light fighter types could.
What adds to the problem is this quest pushes you on to Master Yaol at the academy...where you are supposed to get 3 quests ...as a light fighter you get 2. The third pushes you on to Tanvu to meet the guy who starts the lines of quest that work from tanvu. So as a light fighter you are gimped there also.
This really needs to be fixed. It puts a damper on the whole storyline for light fighter types.

Bug description : I was once a lvl 5 outfitter in Hathor zhi (and had done all the crafting tutorial) and decided to change my crafting profession to be an artificer, so i went to the artificer instructor and have had my crafting profession changed. Since that moment i am stuck at lvl 1 artificer because i can't restart the crafting tutorial. Even after the 15/02/2007 patch (which should have created an option on crafting advisor npcs to restart the crafting tuto at lvl 1 or 2) I still can't find a way to restart the crafting tuto.
I don't see the crafting tutorial restart option on any crafting npc advisor dialog.
I have no crafting quest in my quest book, i have no recipe nor wo in my crafting book and no crafting npc, in any cities i went, offers me any quests. My faction with hathor zhi is above what it was at the beginning and i have no trouble speaking with the crafting npc.
I have bugged the problems two times, petitionned it three times. The last time a gm contacted me about this pb he tried during 30 min to have the crafting tutorial restarted before he admitted he couldn't do anything.

Some persons have extreme problems targeting ANY portals. One person in my guild group tried to target portal near Lyceum for over 30 minutes with no luck. He could see it just fine, but it did not get it to work due to targeting problems. He said that no portal works for him. Personally I think that it same problem as with any mobs. Mobs and items seem to have kind of invisible "ball" around them. If you walk inside that "ball" you cannot be targeted with mouse anymore as it always targets mob instead. I can confirm that portals are extremely hard to target as other items near them tend to interfere with targeting very badly.

Since game still has serious memory leaks you must restart game frequently or it crashes. Now, when you log back in, you are randomly greeted with message telling that you are dead and you have release spirit dialog which starts from full time like normally after death. Problem is that you still have full health and full power. If you release your spirit you are ported to nearest altar with ALL your gear on. You also get no exp penalty. This is extremely irritating bug if it happens in dungeon and to only healer in group (means call for whole group and usually split of group too)...

Getting back to portal takes ages, so we speeded it up a bit and got shaman to middle of portal by handy use of levitation etc. Shaman did not get aggro standing in a middle of teleport area. He called in 3 person successfully and they used portal immediately after that. No problem. Then next person being called apparently moved while accepting call and due to lag moved from center too close to mobs and got killed. Mobs did not attack shaman and reset to their places. He released spirit and shaman moved stone next to him. After that all attempts to revive that fallen person resulted to death as mobs aggroed immediately. Called person was of higher level than shaman, so mob aggro range should have been much smaller to him. Still shaman never got attacked and mobs killed only him. To us it looked like that he never got removed from mobs aggro table. I have seen this elsewhere too, this was not the first time.

I have seen this one several times. Sometimes my leg armor disappears mysteriously and is later found from my inventory (may need relog after it shows up). Happens at random. Sometimes after death and getting stone back, sometimes after chunking.

Logged out from the chunk the normal way to change character. Clicked the other character in char select but just when I clicked Play the char select switched to Torlef again and got logged in. I was dumped into the ocean in the far east of the chunk with no UI. Part of the UI came back by hitting ESC twice. I logged out and restarted the game, now the UI was normal but the progress remains lost. I was 40% into level 12 and is 70% into 11 now with abilities for level 12.
Edit: I also noted that my Dodge and Parry was 120 and I had -20 points to allocate in that group.

Group invites randomly fail to arrive to target. If this happens then usually only way to get invite through is to change person sending invite. Based on experiences this is a bit more common when inviting person outside of your chunk, but can happen within same chunk too.

Sometimes when you accept group invite, you cannot see group at all. Apparently others can see you in the group though. Usually sometime after that you drop from group (not kicked by group leader) and can be invited again. This can happen even inside of one chunk.

No, as far as I can remember. Besides shaman was using hayatet which is badly borked, so chances for him using any hayatet abilities are extremely low anyway.

I recently picked up a full set of Brute's gear for the dexterity bonus to ranged damage. It was after I put it on that I realized that for all this time I hadn't actually been getting any benefit from dexterity other than melee critical hit chance and avoidance.
The tooltip for dexterity will change when you add dexterity, but the Ranged Attack stat will not. For some reason, strength adds damage point-for-point (as in 1 point of strength gives a 1 point increase) to both the minimum and maximum damage for both Melee Damage and Ranged Attack.
I have tested this out for quite a bit on mobs, and I have determined that yes, dexterity does NOTHING to ranged damage.
Also, I'm not sure if this is how it was meant to work, but the bonus to damage I do get from strength applies after all modifiers. I tested this by getting a range of damage for my Shocking Arrow 2 with and without 17 points of strength gear. Shocking Arrow 2 is supposed to deal 200% damage plus a certain amount. After dropping 17 points of strength, the difference in the damage range was 17 (not 34 as I had hoped).
I talked to a Dread Knight in my guild and he says this bug is not affecting him. I have no idea why, because this bug IS affecting the Rogue I group with regularly.
Right now my ranger has 230 dexterity, and should be receiving a bonus to ranged damage of 160something. I have a damage range on my ranged attack of 110-111. Even without the bonus damage being applied before multipliers, that 160 damage would be something that would give my ranger a reason to use ranged instead of just attacking in melee. It really just means there is no reason to pick dexterity gear. Instead, until this bug is fixed, I'll be using full strength gear, which will mean I'll have my bonus to both ranged AND melee (making me unbalanced).
Please fix this bug so I can have a balanced class.

Issue: Bad pull in Zihurr mound can get 14 mobs to Renton Keep gates

I was in guild group which was trying to find queen from Zihurr mound in Renton Keep. Since we do not have idea where it is located, we figured that we can find the place by systematically searching all tunnels. We started from rightmost tunnel that goes to slavers. There we got extremely bad pull which turned out to be 14 mobs and evaced. We were VERY surprised when ALL 14 mobs run through solid stone after us and arrived to Renton Keep gates. That train killed several outsiders before it went back. Once again running through solid stone. We could not recover stones, since some weird bug in aggro range pulled all 14 mobs again caused evac and once again all 14 mobs were running amok in Renton Keep gates.
Also if you evac or run away from mob and come back close to it, it seems to aggro from much futher away than in first attempt for some reason. I do not think that mobs reset properly in the game.

If you were moving when client crashes, you keep running in game until connection timeouts and usually collect massive train which kills you and makes sure that corpse run is a nightmare (mobs all around tombstone).

Grouping
Healing does not work for some people. This is firsthand experience. Ive had someone in the group try to heal me and I would see the numbers in green pop up when I'm healed but my health would not go up. This happend to me in 3 different groups all with different people, mostly in the achlatan lair.
Group chat doesn't always work. I've had times where I could not speak in groupchat but could hear all the other members speaking on it jsut fine, and read thier messages.
Group looting has an issue where an item that is supposed to get rolled on doesn't for some reason or you can't pick up a looted item from a corpse sometimes. Sometimes this causes the entire group not being able to loot any corpses until everyone relogs. It seems this is also caused when someone closes the window that pops up when you roll for loot. Also related is a loot bug where it says "you are already looting a corpse" when you aren't. /endloot somtimes temporality fixes this.
Sometimes you aren't able to see other party members on your screen. You have to relog sometimes and that will fix the issue temporarily. Relogging during a middle of a dungeon crawl with things spawning and patrols running around is not a good thing. You also run into the issue of relogging and disrupt the group with the loot bug. Sometimes this resulted in wipes because something spawned or we didnt all relog on at exactly the same moment.
Crafting
For some work orders and other recipies I have not recived any craft xp from them as an artificer. The work orders I've done vary from easy to difficult and all grades. I should be getting xp from moderate to difficult work orders as well as when I complete the individual items. This is not always happening even with quality grades above D. These were from work orders in the artisans circle in leth nurae.
There are too many complications that pop up. Trying to get something grade A for a very easy work order is almost impossible sometimes. I might get a grade "A" 2 out of 10 times for a very easy order. Also I've noticed that even at moderate to easy work orders its very rare to recieve anything over a "poor" or "fair" craft result. (I do have proper crafting attire for my craft level)
Quests
There are numerous bugged quests. Numerous is an understatement. I'll try to list them as I remember them or encounter them.
"The Cure" when you exit the portal after drenching hte spider queen with the liquid Lalen gave you, you can't finish the quest. A green check mark and shield will pop up over a guard that spawns when you exit the portal next to Lalen who also spawns. No dialogue came up for me when I tried to talk to the guard and cound not finish the quest and the guard despawns after some time. I then abandoned the quest to try to restart it and Lalen would not give me the quest again.
"Off to see the Wizard"
When you go the tower to deliver the mail to (i think his name is) Varlon Majar? he is not at the tower where he is supposed to be but sianding on a rock nearby. When you try to talk to him no dialogue comes up and you cannot finish the quest.
"Goz-something or another"
There is a giant turtle in meadow lake named Goz-something that you must slay. You put spider bait out for him in the center of some stones and he comes out. I slew him and was unable to loot his corpse as it laid on the bottom of the lake and could not get his head to finish the quest. The corpse was "too far away" from me yet I was right next to it.
Diplomacy
One of the diplomacy trainers in Leth Nurae near the horse vendor has 3 quests to teach you about advanced diplomacy skills. I completed all of the quests but he still has a yellow icon over his head and I can do the quests over and over and over like I never finished them.
Sometimes the informants in Veskals exchange will not reward me when I bring them hearsays, rumors, ect ect. I have the proper amounts and the chat bubble comes up but when I click on it nothing happens. Occasionally the chat bubble never came up at all.
Misc.
My charater's appearance changes everytime I log into the game. I spent a good amount of time customiztion the character to how I wanted it to look and now its changed. I didn't save any templates and I do not remember where the all the slider positions were so I can only approximate my original look. I want my pretty face back.
I am constantly missing items from my inventory, in particular most of the time its my helmet or crafting chest piece. I have also had missing dusts andother armor pieces. But when I do /inventory some of my missing items are listed there.
I constantly am not listed as in a guild when I am. I do not see my guild member list when i go to the community tab. I see "you are not in a guild" half of the time when I log in. My friends list is also dissapeared half of the time.
Chat
About half the time I do not see regional chat or guild chat. Regional chat says its an invalid channel when I try to use it and guildchat tells me I am not in a guild.
Chunks
Crossing chunks often causes me to crash to desktop. I also lose torchlight when crossing chunks and it always switches me to first person view when I cross chunks. It also freezes me and "loads" when I cross chunks, what I call mini zoning. I have well far above and beyond the recommended specs for this game. I thought this was supposed to be a seamless world?
Petitons (lack of response)
Out of five or six petitions about issues that haven't been already broadcasted I have sent in the game, I have only gotten response from ONE. This is very poor customer service and shouldn't happen. Why are my petitons being deleted or removed? These were viable petitions that were not /bug related.
Crashes
I constantly crash in this game at least once every 1-2 hours. Sometimes they are more frequent. I have over the recommended specs for this game.
UI
Sometimes when a dialgue box comes up it comes up so dark I cannot see any text. Also some of the arrows, buttons, and plus icons will dissapear when the work order box comes up or when the crafting setup box comes up.

Issue: The Dreadknight defensive stance 'Armor of Darkness' is not applying 10% mitigation as per the description. It is applying about 9% mitigation.
Also, it is lowering both melee and spell damage but only applying melee mitigation. Is this intended?

Bug: High elf racial not working correctly.
It works sometimes, but doesn't work other times. I can't reproduce it everytime, and have been trying to see if I can find a pattern. Duoing with my g/f, we are both high elves, and using the arcane racial should increase our mana pool everytime. But fairly often one of us would use it, and only 1 of us would gain the energy but the other won't. It's supposed to evenly distribute the additional energy amongst the group members right? So with 2 people in the group, it's supposed to show the energy move for both of us correct?
If I missed something or am not understanding correctly how this ability works, please let me know. But like I said, I can't reproduce it everytime, but it happens probably once every 3-4 uses, at the worst possible time of course. Say I would use the ability, and I would see my energy go up from using it, but my g/f would not see the additional energy. Sometimes she would use it, she would see my energy go up, but hers wouldn't go up. So there's like no pattern and I have no idea how to reproduce this. Might be hard to track & QA.

Maybe clerics got a new ability in update 1 "Soften the rocks" :-) in that case i will /bug that i cant walk through all the rocks :P
Off course this issue's are minor but if someone from the dev's is touching this area it would be nice if he can make the rocks more solid and free the Zihurr from his misery.

I would like to follow this up. Myself and nother DrK did some further testing and the racial is not even working with all of the DrK melee attacks, only a couple of them.
I'm guessing that other classes would have to be having similar issues.
Yes, as a Lv.20 Warrior, I couldn't get any health back from Fury of Ghalnn. It didn't occur to me to test every melee ability I had, but it didn't return any health from Decimate, Obliterate, Devestating Blow, or Brutal Strike.

The Orc Racial Ability 'Fury of Gahlnn is even more borked now than before.
It still is not working with many classes attacks/spells and now with the 7 second duration I can not even get off a single attack with it activated (was this some kind of accident?) Seriously, this duration on the ability is nuts and that in combination with not not working with so many abiities the orc racial is completely broke now.

Issue: i hate to keep having to make these posts as i don;t want to abuse this thread, but there is a new bug/issue with the orc racial:
Fury of ghalnn is now totally, completely and unequivocally broken.
The healing aspect was stealth-buffed to 100% (the timer remains 7 seconds however, which really means 5 with the two second global cooldown).
HOWEVER, now when you use the ability the message reads: 'Your racial ability fury of Ghalnn has healed you for 1 point of damage'.
Nothing happens, no damage increase, no healing, nothing.
Update 3-12-07: I had previosuly posted an update that I had thought that the problem with this ability not working with class abilities/spells was fixed.
Upon futher testing it has been determined that I was dead wrong.
It's buggy as heck.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Bottom line: It's broke.

It is quite obvious that someone put wrong numbers to that spell as effect is so small that you break your mouse and need pain killers from excessive mouse clicking before you see some effects from it. Effect needs to be MUCH bigger (3-4 times bigger as minimum) before it is fixed.

After getting 5 eyes drop in a row from zull orbs ( you only 6 needed for the quest) 3 people joined the group, who started the quest also, not one has dropped since and thats been with me killing over 40 of the mobs, deleated the quest and anything associated with it, 4 times and then killed another 15 of the mobs and still no eyes dropped. I have even joined a group who was starting it, they then all got there eyes to drop one after the other and completed it after 6 kills. Myself and also someone else i know still havent got the quest item to drop, since yesterday.
Plz look into this, as this seems to happen alot with quests where people join the group who need quest drops, and the coding of the game by what i can see makes sure its random,(so all can complete and not just one person complete it way ahead of everyone else) so if u need 40 of a quest item and u have 38, if someone else joins who has just started the quest you will find you dont get another drop untill they have caught up, this then sometimes bugs where groups split up before its completed or in this case they complete it and you are still left with needing 1 drop etc.
Edit: Now had 11 other people say they have suffered the same problem on this quest, so its not limited to a small minority (considering there isnt loads of people on gelenia doing it) :)

I've seen a similar thing happen to someone in group whose client crashes and then they die. I've also witnessed someone crashing in group and then being in this state when they return, even when nothing attacked them while they were ingame and crashed. When this happens to people, they release and have all their gear, and possibly lose xp since they have no tombstone. In groups I've been in, they either run back or get summoned by a healer if in a dungeon (no rez since no tombstone).
In my specific case, I had camped several days ago on the road near the Tremean Family farm in Three Rivers chunk. The area is fairly safe, but there is a remote possibility that someone trained me with a wolf from the farm shortly before I was in-world, but logged in.
I've attached three screenshots and my vgclient.log.

-Shows I am standing without a corpse, fully buffed.
-Shows I can still activate a torch.
-I cannot move from the spot I am standing.

-Shows me casting my Spatial Leap hotkey (The "You're not in a group" message in chat window, since my hotkey macro alerts the group when I cast it.)

-Shows me lose hp/energy/end but not my buffs or equipment upon landing at the altar.
-Comparing the experience bar from previous screenshot, it appears I didn't actually lose any/much experience except whatever was subtracted upon "death", if any.

I was zoning into Khal from the arena, and apparently Khal was down or something because I couldnt use abilities/spells, It kicked me out and i logged in soon after only to find out my UI was completely gone, I hit F10 some came back but checked my Abilities book and nothing was there. Also no inventory or anything in my character equipment sheet. I relogged and found everything was back. I noticed my XP bar and it was nearly all gone when i was damn nearing level 37. Checked my bank and come to find out i lost nearly 12 gold.
I hope im reimbursed something because ive been hacking away pretty damn hard all day, i dont need it all being washed away with some stupid bug that was apparently fixed.

I'm not sure if this is a bug but I thought I should post it anyhow and Ill be short and sweet.
From my observations over the past couple weeks it appears to me that a big reason for performance issues I have is that anytime the client is waiting for data from the server, instead of allowing play to continue while it waits, the client freezes.
A good example of this is when I target a mob/player with a lot of buffs/debuffs, the client seems to freeze until it has received all of the buff data. It would also explain why the more members in my party, the worse my performace gets (I'm 99.9999% sure its not purely a graphics issue). It also explains a host of other performance issues I experience.
If it is the case that the client does indeed freeze while waiting for data from the server, I'm not sure if this is a design choice or a bug. I do know that if it is the source of my problem and it was fixed/changed, my performance would sky-rocket.
I have heard similar reports from guildies and other people and I cant help but think if this is a major cause of a lot of peoples performance issues and not just the graphics engine.
I would love a Dev comment either saying this is whats happening and its a design choice or a bug theyre aware of or even that Im talking out of my hole!

Not precisely a bug, but this seems best place for feedback:
Dargun's Tomb - basement level could really do with a cash loot pass. The ogres, ghosts, etc drop no coin and the greens and blues were pretty sparse. Our tank came out of the session with negative 20 silver after repair, and one item he's hoping might sell enough to cover it.

Issue: Group loot bug appears at least twice a day. After clicking start items rolling the following error occurs:
Your group is currently rolling on items. Please loot after the all items won.
In all cases we are not rolling on anything.
Probably this has been already pointed out but in my experience this bug
appears when someone closes the random window with the X button instead of letting it expire.
Seems like that this way the client doesn't not update the server about the
status of the roll and the roll remains 'open'.
I already verified several times and every time in my group the bug appears
and i ask if anyone did close the window i get a YES.
Just be warned and lets hope they fix this major bug soon

If person A is missing one point of hp and you cast a heal worth of 500 points to him, you seem to get 500 points of aggro instead of that one point you should have got. All heals always hit for max based on numbers even when only part of heal is needed and aggro seem to be based on full heal instead of real effect which is usually smaller than heals full effect..

I noticed after live update patch #1 that weapons graphics went missing on all of my characters for the secondary slot. The item similiarities on these toons are any item with a name of staff or totem.
Second: At gates to forrest location of Lord Tsang. Pre-update the guards used to hold weapons. Now those weapons are gone..invisible.
I appologize if this has already been posted.
I have done everything short of VG re-install. Driver updates-check, defualt settings-check, full system file scan-check, defrag hard drive-check. Screen resolution changes-check. May have missed a few other items I tried.
Can someone confirm whether this is a known bug? And/or the fix?

Weapon Specialization skills (axe, Longsword, etc.) do not rise anymore. And the summary tab says that I am at -8 overall?
Is it a display issue? a caracter issue?
EDIT: Ok I found ou why this was the case. The reason I was at -8 is because they (dev's) removed Crossbow as a possibility and 1 less option means a few less skill points to spread around. The weapon Specialization is working fine now...

Something very strange is going on with the Mithril Shard drops in this questline. We have put in 4+ hours in two different sessions, received several pieces of shaft, etc from named, but not a single Mithril Shard.
Another party in zone told us they were receiving a shard drop every ten minutes or so.
All of us are on same quest stage and are within level range of mobs (though becoming in danger of outlevelling after so long). Party of Paladin, Disciple, Bard (and at times extra bard and warrior).
We have abandoned work on this quest for now.

I get this many times per day: ability crits and finisher activates. You click finisher and suddenly instead of damage to mob you get message telling "You cannot use this ability now" (might not be exact wording, but you get the idea). This happens even if I have almost full power, full endurance and mob is next to me. As far as I know there should be nothing, not even mob cast abilities which should block finisher and it still fails. When that happens I can only watch timer to run out and hope that next finisher works.

Ok, on my sorcerer I can't invis on my self - I can see myself, even without see invisibility. I believe this to be working correctly.
On my shaman, I cast stealth - others can see me (this is ANOTHER bug, even with a really high stealth skill low levels with 4 perception can see me in pvp) but I can't see myself.
On my shaman, someone casts invis on me, i can't see myself, even with see invis.

After the last patch i've seen two distinct issues, the most annoying being the crash of the game (its a prima for me, never had any serious issue playing the game).
The minor issue is the fact that for some reason on logon my chars are at 10/15% health while i'm sure they werent when i logged out: i never log out a char that is not fully healed.
The major issue is the crash / freeze. in 30 minutes i had to restart the game several times.
The game frozen the first time while i was browsing my inventory and having a look at my items and changing breastplate. The game simply hung there and i had to bring up the task manager and kill hte process.
the second time i checked again the inventory, then closed the bags and the client simply closed on me.
The third time i managed to stay in game for about 15 minutes, then i recalled to khal and the game froze after few meters from the bind stone.
This time i could alt-tab out and seen there was a critical error (or whatever it was) message that i couldn't see at all, only the icon on the app bar was there to tell me there was one.
I really hope to see an emergency patch very soon :)
The game always worked almost flawlessly for me untill this patch.

All non-human races are supposed to get 4 points pre-set and 10 points which you can put to abilities you choose so that you can put max of 4 points to one ability per level. Now I am building my vulmane shaman to classic wis/vit/int build. Problem is that after I max wis and vit I have exactly _1_ point left for int instead of 2 I should have. So apparently I can put 5 points to either wis or vit as vulmane (vit is more likely as my healing almost always passes 100%).

Hayatet shamans get levitation from phoenix illusion (Wings of Hayatet). If I also cast shaman levitation spell to me and then cancel it, I totally lost levitation and fall down although phoenix illusion should still have levitation left. As far as I know same happens no matter what class and what levitation spell you try. They all overwrite possible existing levitation.

Issue: Levitation is badly broken

Levitation suffers of many problems:
-cast 2 spells including levitation component and cancel one of them means that you fall like rock as you just lost levitation
-climbing stairs while using levitation is very hard or impossible
-trying to go over fences etc. which you can easily jump over is impossible with levitation
-levitation is easy way to get stuck to doors
-levitation does not always seem to calculate distance from "ground" properly meaning that if you for example run up a river you may find yourself running underwater quite soon (especially good looking with horse)
-all elevators malfunction with levitation (elevators just go through you instead of moving you like they should)
-levitation seems to allow you to use horse in some places where it normally does not work
-river valley tower "lifts" do not work at all if you have levitation on

When you have near 100% equipment percentage, you cannot drag and drop a peice of equipment on to your paper doll without first removing the peice of equipment in that slot. It seems to add the percentage of the incoming peice of equipment to your total (including the existing peice) when determining your max allowed. You have to remove the existing peice to equip the new peice.

Having never seen this bug, but hearing people complain about it, it surprised me when it happened to me. So I asked a question of a friend of mine who does see it, and discovered something:
He's only ever seen this happen on his bard, and it happens semi-frequently.
I've only ever seen this happen on my bard once, and in this location.
I wonder, is it related to bards and certain chunk lines somehow? I was running a movement speed song at the time, so maybe it's something related to a movement speed buff (though I doubt it, since the other 2 members of my group didn't die). Just relaying some info that might be helpful.

When skinning on my own I encounter no problems at all skinning, however, not long after a guildie started helping me out I had two bugs: Firstly the drop rate would decrease from say 17 strips per harvest down to 2 or 3 at most. Secondly the harvest would often not complete and end up in an infinite loop, when the red bar reached the end it would flick back up to full again.
No specific mob in particular but we were doing the bears and wolves quest at the time so around level 36. My skinning is at 390 ish and friends harvesting is at 500.

Issue: Falling through geometry of Bordiner's Cleft crafting instance upon login

If I camp in the BC crafting hall in front of the refining forge, when I log back in I am falling through the mountain into purgatory. On 3 occasions I couldn't "/stuck yes" fast enough and I fell onto the side of a mountain and died. When I respawned I was at Shaletooth. I petitioned it to recover lost xp (didn't get it) but the GM advised me to delete the N28_26 chunk in my folder and rescan upon next login. Did that, but still fell through.
Between the lost time running from shaletooth, lost xp from the multiple deaths, and now, the lost time for me to run out and camp outdoors, this bug is getting fairly annoying.

I found out what I think the problem is...
I was around 390 skinning level as I said and had in advance prepared my next level knife, the pristine mithril. This was in my toolbelt with the iron knife for my level, for some reason though, the game was confusing itself about which to choose when harvesting started, dumped the iron to my inventory, left the mithril in the belt and skinned with my bare hands!!
The crafted weapon lifetap proc 'Soulink' is healing the target that you are fighting when it goes off.
It actually heals the mob.
I didn't include all of the normal required info on this post because, well it doesn't seem necessary for a bug like this.

please fix the /unlock corpse tool, some of us try to raid areas, to try to get everyone knowing everyones ablitys and working with each other so when raids do come out, but its very hard to let a certain group get ownership on mobs we kill, are dps group gets ownership everytime and we cant unlock the corpse when something soulbound drops so nobody gets to have it and it rots
