Anytime an opposing player uses a pet on me (necro abomination, the rock one a druid has etc..) my FPS is reduced to 1-2fps and I can't do anything but wait to die, at which point my fps returns to normal, its only when the pet is hitting me. I've tried turning some settings down to counter it but it doesnt seem to be it. I dont lag when I am ganked by multiple players either, so I know my computer can handle multiple entities engaged in pvp combat.

Now pets do not lag me in PVE at all. I rolled a necro to test it out and my own abomination doesnt lag me. In parties with multiple pet users I am fairly lag free. So does anyone know what i can do. I'm tired of crashing everytime I run into a player with a pet up.

I would love to be able to actually target the pet in PvP by means other than getting lucky and clicking on the name of the pet while it is blinking in the encounter window or having no target and it hitting you.

This happens to me too. I run at 30-40 FPS in most areas, but if a pet gets sicced on me, I'm an instant kill. I can't bust sprint and run away. Can't do anything other than die.

This sucks, hard, because people are finding out what it does to some players and exploiting it.

Now that i think about it, the same thing always happens to me. one time which made it obvious was when i was attack buy a druid, who sent his rock pet at me. My FPS drop down like a rock, but my own pet was in guard mode, so it killed the rock pet shortly after. Right after it died, my FPS went back up to normal instantly.

looks like there is another exploit out there :(
