763THE LAST FANBOY and VANGUARD SILKY VENOM have each provided a home to some of Vanguard: Saga of Heroes' oldest and most dedicated fans. Now, as Vanguard: Saga of Heroes moves into beta and beyond, the staffs of both sites are excited to announce that, effective today, THE LAST FANBOY and VANGUARD SILKY VENOM have merged. Under the Vanguard Silky Venom banner, staff members from both sites are even better poised to deliver the best and most up-to-date content to new and existing Vanguard fans.
As launch time nears, we plan to provide you with the most current coverage of Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, using cutting edge features and helpful tools designed to make your gaming experience in Telon the best it can possibly be. To meet the challenges of covering the betas, launch and release, Vanguard Silky Venom and The Last Fanboy will be merging their staff members into dedicated teams for content, news, coding and art.
The new content team will be headed by Kiranth who will be joined by Elrar and Ieranii (the new Fanboy Wiki Editor). Havelock will remain Editor-in-Chief of the news team. He'll be accompanied by his diligent entourage of newsies, Lady Sirse, Labyrrinth and Dorian. Fozzik and Nepenthia will continue to manage their columns as well as assist wherever their talents are needed. Nolaquen will head up the coder area, working with the assistance of Valen and Dillgaar to create the PHP Tour de Force. Pariath will continue his job as the Community Manager, Xyrrus will be the new Sigil Liaison, and Feyshtey will continue to apply his great artistic talent to maintaining the Vanguard Silky Venom image. Oloh, of course, will run the whole show and try to keep this circus in check.207
We've got tons of great projects on the horizon! The Fanboy Wiki will migrate over to Vanguard Silky Venom and the content team is already excited about releasing new "sekret sauce" offerings in the coming weeks. Keep an eye open!
