Ok, so I pre-ordered the game and still have it installed, but cancelled my pre-order cause the game ran like complete crap for me just like it did/does for others. Have been following the forums for fixes and what not, have even posted about my issues a few times. Would appear that patch 1758 was supposed to fix some of the performance issues the game is having, but I'm just not willing to pay 50 bucks for this game just yet until I know it's actually gonna run decent for me. That being said does anyone have a trial key i can use to see how it runs?

Wow? Wow what? We're you expecting 100 people to jump in here and give away their trials to someone that can't even run the game and wants to try it again when we all know the small performance increase that we have all gotten won't justify trying it again, yet.

I think most of the keys have been used up already... I have been trying to get one to see if my computer can run the game also, albeit at very low settings

No harm meant. If it ran like crap on that computer, there has to be something wrong with the hardware. I run the game pretty smooth.(1280x1024 Med-High Settings(bloom)30-50fps wild/20-50fps city) on this setup:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6400
Connect3D X1900XT
2GB DDR2 533
Seagate 160GB 7200RPM HD
MCI Neo3 945P Mobo

(It played about the same in Beta, maybe a slight boost in performance like I suggested above)

That is my exact specs, (except that I have a 4600+). The game does NOT run like crap. I play on balanced with 40-60 FPS in wild 20-45 FPS in cities. You have definitely got something wrong with your hardware that you need to have checked.

It's not the hardware....my box runs a dozen other games, half of which are mmo's, just fine. It's no secret that there are compatibility issues, performance issues, whatever you wanna call it. The point of my original post was to obtain a trial key so i could see if the new patch has remedied my issues as it was targetted at what my symptoms were. I'd like to know if it will run for me before i dish out the money for it, plain and simple.

Yes and thousands of other retards just like you that more than likely don't know squat about pc's except what you read online trolling through forums and interperet in whatever way you will. Fact of the matter is every game I have ever beta'd, bought, played whatever at launch has problems like these (Eq2 beta and after LU 18 it had very adverse affects on users, LOTRO beta ran like tremendous crap the first month for me then was fixed) and people post about them. Then people like yourself come along and take the easy way out and say it's my machine, yet wow a patch or 2 down the road it always gets fixed. I'm not mad about the fact that the game cycles 0-70 fps over and over on 30 second cycles, I have seen multiple other multi-paged threads by users reporting the same problem.

I am a bit annoyed by the fact that I have a true interest in playing the game despite all the problems it has and all i get told is that its my machine and flamed. Bottom line, if you don't have a trial key to spare go raise your post count somewhere else.

Yet, my rig runs smoothly. You should probably get to know someone better before you insult their knowledge or education.

I'm sorry, but the issue IS your rig. I get the same performance as I did in beta. I don't understand how people with the same/higher specs are complaining about their performance. I think its all an exaggeration and they just want to find something to complain about. Your not getting my key to merely test your rig.
