Any of you like me, work for a company that shit on its employees by installing this Barracuda Firewall "Spam Blocker"? Have you see this ****ing gestapo piece of shit? Some assmunch of a coworker decides to watch the World Cup live on his PC, and now the rest of of are screwed. (and yes, the ass kept his job). I have complete access to hundreds of thousands of social security numbers, yet they protect ww.si.com like it's uranium.

God I hate censorship.

I'm hoping it's more that Barracuda put us in their Gaming category which your company decided to enable block, rather than some other content category.

time to start your own company!

and when you find out your employee's spend all there time on the internet instead of workign you'll understand why they do these things. its not censorship, at least no purposeful censorship.

Then they should block or fire the users who abuse access, and not those who get promoted very 9 months, are entrusted with highly sensitive information, and have to eat lunch at their desk because the boss's friend/realtive can't do the job they were hired to do, and needs help.

Do some work? lol

umm...typically when I'm running a long query that hogs system resources, I'll browse the boards while I'm waiting for it to finish, so it's either read the melodrama here or stare at the "Mystify" screen saver

Me, too! I'm a DBA, so my requests for data from the 'frame often take up to 15-20 minutes at a pop. I just surf while waiting for it to finish.
