Do you get any adventuring items with diplomacy ?

Getting some diplo items when you turn in information is nice, but what about items of other spheres?

Apart from the city buffs and faction ratings, how does diplo affect adventuring for instance?

I have a 75 skill and diplomacy for me just got started so Id like to know from some vets.

I heard the fabled "Altar of Kaerellun" was going to offer adventuring goodies, but I haven't heard anything on when it will be implemented.

There is going to be a writ reward helmet that you can use in adventuring in the future.

For the most part though no, most items you recieve are diplomacy oriented at this point.
