Problems with druid

I have been stuck at 105 conjuration skill for sometime.

I am level 12. I constantly cast piercing roots, and the venomous one. Both are physical conjurations. But I get no skill gain at all.

Is this a known problem? Anyone else had this problem?

It is only annoying because everything is being resisted by higher level mobs.

I expected to go fight lower level mobs and see some skill gain, but I don't. Same, no gain. But all other skills are gaining. Slow, but gaining. Most of them still in the 90-100 range. Even though I constantly use them.

You will get increases as you level.

A friend of mine is only at 138, and is level 22. So, he should be able to get his skill to 220. But only gains 1 point every 2-3 days. That is constantly casting any and all conjure spells.

At lvl 37 my skills are:

Conjuration : 364
Alteration: 370
Evocation: 416

It is pretty much in line with the other two spell schools. I lead of every fight with Piercing Roots and Earth Elemental, group or solo. When soloing I use snare too, of course, and those three are the only ones for conjuration. (Binding Roots too, but I don't use that often)

Cast those three or all four every fight when grouping to skill up. Conjuration will skill up but you must not be using all of those consistently if it is low.
