Please fix Infineum ring event - book doesn't drop

I am about to out-level the area and would love to get my Legendary weapon. I can't, however, progress past the 'Vengeance' quest ( killing of the Recruiter ). He doesn't drop the book now. Please PLEASE fix this ASAP so I can get my updates, go through the weapon portion and be able to finally wear all the armor I've been farming for / get legendary.

I realize it's probably low on your list but it was working fine up until the last patch and now no one can progress past it.

he dosent drop a book the book is in a hut on the table. quest isnt broken as my guild did it twice this weekend. i personally didnt beacuse im to high and did it about 3 weeks ago.

The ring quest is indeed broken, you do not get credit for killing the recruiter.

I attempted the quest multiple times over the weekend, never got credit. We tried killing the guardians before killing him, in order (they are numbered). Then we tried killing him before the guards, and then a few other variations - not stepping out of the stones etc...

I am REALLY looking forward to complete this quest as well so I can move up and get my flags, we gave up after attempting it multiple times then seeing a server wide GM message stating something along the lines of chain pulling of spawnable npcs is considered a exploit - so we stopped doing that :p
