Anyone actually seen the queen? I heard that you had to spawn her in some way by killing mobs. My assumption would be killing all the larva would spawn her but I would love some confirmation.

You have to kill the Named Royal Guardian Zihurr in the queen's chamber to make her spawn

BUT

she is also on a (3-hour?) timer. So you better be informed if another group was down there before and killed her. Else you would have to stay down there and wait for a respawn, which will take some time.

(Actually the group i was in encountered that problem. I had to leave before she had respawned - but went afk over night and when i came back my groupmates had killed her for me =] )
