I was wondering what the play time to 50 is for someone who does nothing but XP (aqdventure, no crafting). Anyone know?

Have the recent xp changes (excluding this past weekend event) help or hurt the amount of time to get to 50?

I am asking because I have a potential bet amongst friends on who could get to fifty first.

Good luck not dying if you go for it.

i believe sigil said they expected to get a fast time of 450 hours to 50. Polkadots had something like 432 hours i think.

If it took him 30 days to get to 50 that would be over 14/hours a day for 30 straight days.

How is that possible? How could one person live for 30 days like that?

Well if you have NO other obligation of any kind - no school work, you anme it. I can see someone putting those hours (perhapse s/he is sick and can't do anything else atm?)

A better question IMO is why would someone who has the time to play a game be putting those kind of hours into grinding xp? This game offers SO much more...

i just hit lv 30, and i play 12+ hours a day. no way i can just sit there and adventure xp. i have done other stuff, like spent a few days straight crafting to get away from the monotomy(spelling?) of adventure xp'ing. to do that straight has got to be mind numbing to say the least.

From what I heard his account was played by more than one person. Taking shifts playing same character would help you get to 50 faster than any regular player would no?

Then again, thats all hearsay, so you didn't hear it from me.

This is because they are of the mindset that "the game begins at 50" which came from other mmos like wow or ffxi, maybe eq, I dunno never really played that one.

Frankly I feel sorry for everyone in a race to see who can reach 50 first or the fastest, missing out on so much neat content, but hey, instead of taking time enjoying the experience getting to 50 they get to enjoy only running dungeons for gear or seeing how fast they can max out the other spheres.

Lvl 43 with almost exactly 12 days played here... Grinding gets amazingly slow in the 40s though. I just played about 5 hours and got around 4 bubbles of xp. It wasn't the hardest grinding I have ever done, but still.

I am not planning to power level 50 but was a question that came up in a conversation amongst friends.
