Someone mentioned bards were in the lower end DPS wise among the Offensive Fighters.

Lets see about that...

Think I do pretty good damage, even in the teens.

Oh yeah, as for the little exploit discussion, I did find a way to exploit mobs and get them stuck so you can just kill them with range attack or spells without any risk. :p

Not gonna tell you all how :cool: But it's been petitioned now :D

Yah thats a visual bug. Rangers get it when under the accuracy stance.

But yes. Bards do have excellent dps. Better than rangers before we got broke. At least in the 20's.

If your talking about getting a mob stuck on a mining Node so you can range it down w/o any risk, Everyone already knows :)

Well now they do.

It's still an exploit though. I've sent a /bug and /petition on it, and I don't do it myself anymore.

Though, I sometimes run past a mining node if I get chased by alot of stuff that for some reason have 50 meter long arms and manage to still hit me, just to get them stuck and off my back. I call that fair cheating, since it's to stop them from using their long range exploits on me :P

This post is worthless and been done many many times.. its a visual bug that has been present since beta.

2nd Bards have never been able to outdamage rangers so that is a retarded statment.

As a 44 bard I do "ok" damage -- higher levels our damage takes a steep fall compaired to other classes. The songs that were good at lvl 20 are still the same songs and do little else. No real scaling going on.
