I have been harassing one of my friends to try out the game since I first began. After finally getting his new AlienWare - he figured he would. With that, I sent him the url to download the game - and provided a key for the free 10-day trial (included with my game package).
After downloading, installing, and updating - I get the following message from him:
"I put in the key you gave me. It said I was on a trial period (as I expected), but then came to another screen asking for the CD key. I tried putting the one you gave me in again, but that didn't work."
Curious if any of you are aware with any sort of issue surrounding the trial keys. I'm fine to just offer him another key - but my curiosity comes from the fact that the key initially worked (as he states above) - but then he was asked for a cd key - which, the trial key did not function with...
Any ideas on what to do here? :yell:
