Due to popular demand, I am going to recommence giving my writing workshops, similar in nature to the ones that I used to give for Silky Venom writers. I am now opening the workshops up to ALL permanent members of affiliated Vanguard fan sites.
I am offering these classes, in part to honor and help the writers of the various Affiliated fansites. They spend long hours, without pay, trying to present information to the fans in the best way possible. That kind of dedication certainly gets my vote. In view of the hard work of other staff members of the Affliliate fan sites, I am extending this invitation to attend these workshops to them as well. A word of warning, though. I have received requests from people interested in learning who are not staff members of affiliate fan sites. I don't know how crowded the classes will be, since I don't know how many will be attending. My goal right now is to help the affiliate writers. I think it might be fair if I charged $5 to NON-staff people...then if you REALLY want to attend, you can and it won't cost you an arm or a leg. http://vanguardcrafters.com/forums/Smileys/classic/smiley.gif PLEASE NOTE there is no charge to the permanent staff of any affiliated Vanguard fan site for attending my workshops.
The first workshop will be on Sunday, Oct. 23, between 2 and 4 p.m. (Eastern). It will be held on "How to find and write news when there is none."
