Downloading Vanguard.. Is it compressed or full 20 giga?

I have a friend downloading the game. I''ll give him the trial key..

Anybody knows if he has to download the whole 20 giga? Or is it compressed?

the actual download isnt that bad, its the process of patching the first time you run the game, ;)

buddy of mine DL'd the game from fileplanet during beta, and he has the zip file on a burned CD i think. so that version isnt any more than 4.7 gigs ( i could be wrong, he lives 3 hours away)

but he had to leave the patcher on overnight.
