I'm glad to see I finally found out what Vanguard is! After searching through differant games, trying to find that old EQ feel but with todays experience I think I have finally found it.

I actually Just found about all this stuff last night, while reading stories about events that happened in the EQ classic days. I must say I am most impressed with Vanguard and the community that is evolving, I can't wait to become apart of it.

I am very impressed with silkyvenom and the information presented on here, I haven't spent so much time reading about about game since I heard about EQ classic.

WoW, L2 and EQ2, just didn't have that good old EQ classic feel that we are all used to, but as I have read a great many of us are very attracted to this game because it has that "spark" that we saw in EQ.

I hope to see you all around. (Back to reading lore! :D)

I understand your feeling quite well. While WoW and EQ2 are fun, they do not have the right feel. The challenge, the teamwork and the reward without the tedium. That's what I hope to see when Vanguard comes out.

I only joined the boards a few days ago, but welcome! I'm new here, too, but this site has more information on Vanguard than I've seen. Check out the faq and the Wiki stuff. Crazy amount of info. ;)

We strive to supply the community with the most up to date information, and our hopes are to be everything Alla and Casters Realm were in their hay days, and so much more!

It's not going to be easy, but I'd say we're sizing up quite well as of yet! Launch will be the real test however. A test I eargerly await.

Wow, thank you all so kindly for the warm welcome.

As for what I plan to do and contribute, As in every game I have played, I have always found a facinating with the necromancer, especially since the poor class has always been rejected by "normal society" and is highly mis-understood. heheh :p

So I definatly plan to develop a compilation website and mini community where people can get news, advice, guides and information regarding the necromancer. But of course the information will be shared with everyone and every community.

I look forward to seeing exactly what the necromancer can do what role the class will be playing in VG. :)
