Unfortunatley I suspect they don't even want to say when they will address PVP because it's so far down the road. If people read that, they would just leave until then. Though we won't last in limbo forever...

Just finished a PvP- see if this sounds familiar to any of you.

4v4- sounds like it has potential. I have 2 pets on me the entire fight which I can't target. Two of my team lags out or freezes due to pets/lag.whatever I'm not even sure. And those two players just bought new high end systems. I watch as the two pets beat on me slowing my casting to nothing as they flicker in the target window.

Game is unplayable- or rather it is at its worst when you need it to be its best. SB.exe anyone?

A prayer to the development gods: develop a game that is playable, stable, and built from the ground up with PvP in mind- and don't worry about having a thousand different textures, animations, or models. I was a big fan of Guild Wars for putting PvP first, but it is not really an MMO- the persistance factor is what makes a game immersive and addictive.

Thing is, when VG was first announced, it had zero pvp whatsoever. Only during the beta did they figure, hey, lets throw the pvpers a bone, which, in hindsite, was only to pad their initial subscription numbers.

Here Ill tell you the super secret way to target a pet.

Step1: Ctrl+left clickCtrl+left clickCtrl+left clickCtrl+left clickCtrl+left click Step2: dot/spell/ability on pet
Step3: pet becomes easily attackable
Step4: Kill pet or nuke it once maybe twice it takes full dmg but has crap for hitpoints

I just can't imagine when PvP will get a fix because VG has a bunch of problems and issues that will keep being top priority such as:

1) Game stability and performance
2) Bugs
3) Games features not yet implemented in game: full diplomacy
4) High-end game content
5) Game artworks such as helmets
