Had it been in Vanguard, they would have stood there together, hand in hand, trading romantic emotes, whispering sweet nothings...completely oblivious to their low perception scores and the bone stalker creeping up from behind to provide them an equal fate. Ahh, wandering mobs are so romantic. =P

Ok, maybe there was a punchline later or something, but I filled my daily quota of 'sappy' in the first few seconds....

I know it was satire. But even the music kinda made my skin crawl.

One of the things to note is that this is way funnier if you have followed the guys who created it for the past couple months.
FPS Doug, and the rest of their really funny little videos.
The best one, is about the guy you saw kissing his monitor talking about how much of a hardcore gamer he was and then he meets a girl who plays WoW...(the girl who he was meeting in the song)
He looks at the game and talks about how much it will suck, and how lame it will be...then afater about 20 minutes of starting a character he's hooked and can't even bother to look at the camera when talking.

Really, really quite funny. Very satirical, but at the same time, you can tell they really DO play CS and other MMOs all the time. My guild in WoW loved these guys.

That song makes me laugh every time i hear it because it's so true. You really do need to have played WoW at some point to get it though.

Well, I have only played WoW on my brothers account up to level 7 or so, but I found that to be hilarious, so much so that I showed my wife (who is not a gamer). Thanks for that one.

I really enjoyed it - even the ending - it was real, and reminded me that there are real feelings behind the pixellated characters. Sappy? Maybe...but it's also life.
