I did this quest in The Tomb Of Lord Tsang, and went back to quest giver and he gave me a new ability called Bane of The Ulvari. I don't see this ability in any spell book or natural ability page. Can any Dev comment on this? A bug or what?

That one is rather useless (23 endurance, weapon damage +20 or so, only against ulvari)
However, the +5% damage ability given from doing the godforsaken quest about killing 4 nameds and combine item to get a one time named spawn and the +5% ulvari damage appears to have been wiped when all "unexpected" learned abilities were wiped.
Since you gain that ability from Lord Tsang himself, and spawning him (was at least) a 1 full day farming session, it's not like you can just walk back to get it.
Since Ulvari appears to be an enemy in the very high end, could there be a look into restoring it without the need to summon Lord Tsang if you've already recieved it once (but had it wiped)?

- A passive ability that gives 5% damage to Ulvari (From Lord Tsang himself).

I do hope they will return to us when they turn back whatever is they need to turn on. Did you finish the aumlet quest inorder to summon Lord Tsang itself? I thought Lord Tsang is lvl 50 or something?

The amulet (and my god that's a waste of time quest) makes the girl you get the quest from throw a fit and charge you. After droping her and recieving the wonderful loot that felt so deserved (hah!) after spending all that time farming the 4 shards (I hear spawn rate got upped now though) Lord Tsang spawns. After a bit of discussion with him, he teach you how to wtfpwn Ulvari (giving you a +5% damage boost agains them) like he used to do!
However, when unwanted abilities (TM) were wiped, these were too. Since there appears to be some Ulvari high end dungeon (or raid zone?); it would be sorta nice to have these restored - or give an alternative method to restore them if you had the ability previously (note: not solved the quest, only one person was able to do that - and considering the spawn rate of nameds, I don't see anyone sane spawning another after being dissapointed at the one named and the ability already been given, but the entire group could get the ability.)

I just want to summon Lord Tsang and spank it or something. But your info helps :D since there's no DSC/Monk weapon in Tsang I still want to finish the amulet quest. But....some dudes keep telling freaking getting the gem coz they want to "upgrade" the weapon :(

there IS a disciple/ monk weapon, they finally fixed it a patch or two ago,

first compleate dakkar, then talk to advisor out front, he will guide you into turning it into Kel'dakkar.

the amulet quest is not part of the upgrading wpon quest line.

there IS a disciple/ monk weapon, they finally fixed it a patch or two ago,

first compleate dakkar, then talk to advisor out front, he will guide you into turning it into Kel'dakkar.
