Fair enough, it appears this has been around for awhile. I was thinking of rolling on a pvp server, with the buff bots in place :D I may do that just to skip the first 20 levels or so, lol.

By making it public, it forces a quick fix. As opposed to certain guilds and players using it to gain levels. Many of which will KEEP them when it's fixed.

He also could be an angry guy who got caught and banned for it.

Regardless of his intentions he is correct to display this garbage for all to see. The fact that so many exploited and will be able to keep their characters is extremely frustrating.

My assumption is that he is either referring to some pvp exploit that myself and my entire guild have not witnessed on team pvp (due to naivity on ourpart probably) that was announced last night... or

the Missive exploit where say you need ten pig monster toes for a missive turn in...instead you kill 100 pig monsters and collect 100 toes and turn them in at once... I don't even know if that's an exploit but that's as close as I can think of.

What is this mysterious cheat?

Security through obscurity FTL! Banning this persons forum account is just weak. Not to mention pointless since this information can be found all over in other places. The only way to stop people from exploiting is to ... gasp... FIX THE EXPLOITS!!!!

The server message when logging in this morning warned of people usin this exploit and that hey are actively pursuing anyone who used it to gain exp...I'd like to see how they're gonna know.

I'm not going to post exactly how to do it in full as my post will just get edited wasting mods time and mine, but it was only do-able on a pvp server due to pvp death flags and pve corpse recovering.

If you are doing it, and think to yourself..."wow this is awesome..this has to be an exploit"....then obviously you KNOW what you are doing and should not only stop doing it, but report it so they can fix it.

It's been reported many times, and evidently using this forum to bring this issue to light to more people results in a ban. GG.
