Hurricanes -Why? Why?!!

Another hurricane going through Florida today, it's not a bad one though. At least I get the day off work and my power is still on!

It does seem like you are getting a bit more of a bashing than usual ... have you and Pakistan been yelling blasphemous things at the sky?

I believe it has to do with the hurricane cycling. We're in a bad year. The cycle seems to be a 22-year cycle (the last time we had this many hurricanes was in 1983). The weather conditions and water temperatures have been perfect for these oversized and overpowerful hurricans. Next year, it shouldn't be anything like this.

Don't believe it until you see it. The news reporter types have made every hurricane into "WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE AND PAY 10 DOLLARS FOR GAS!!!one!!!eleven!one!" It might be possible, but I wouldn't get my panties in a knot over it.
