There's a new guy in my guild in EQ2. He's a good guy, I talk with him now and then. But the other night Vanguard was brought up in guild chat. He said he knows "a certain Sigil designer" (not sure if I want to bring up his name and cause trouble) from his old EQ guild and still talks with him to this day. He said he could probably get him into Beta if he wanted, being he is one of his friends. No problem, right? But he turns it down! He said he is tired of hopping games to find the right one and will most likely not give Vanguard a shot. Hey, that's his choice I guess. But hey, if I had a friend that worked for a gaming company and asked me if I wanted to beta test it, even if I had no interest in teh game at all, I would say yes. Just plainly to help my bud out and give him my thoughts on this game that he and his mates are working hard on. I don't know, maybe I am just thinking immaturely? Wouldn't be the first time :p

Well I understand where he's coming from.
I have a buddy that is one of the key designers for Dodge. He said he could get me a new Viper to consumer test for him when they were still in production, but I turned him down. I have a vehicle and sports cars just don't really interest me....
Honest.
Ominous

You sir are a ca-razy man!
but alas, I understand where you're coming from, but still this is beta testing a game vs. a very nice and expensive car :p regardless of preference, you know you'd look damn sexy in it!

The guy lies!
We've seen Sigil in action - there is no way you could be friends with one of them, and not have their absolute enthusiasm over Vanguard pass onto you ;)
I'd rather play Vanguard beta than get a free Dodge.
Im such a lier

I second that notion.
The first impression I got when reading the first post was: "This guy has got to be lying." There is just no way that a Sigil Dev would fail to convince someone to give Vanguard a shot.

That is for certain. All of the devs at fanguard seemed very outspoken. There is no way they wouldnt be talking their friends ear off about how much this game is going to pwn all others.
