I have to give props to the art team and Dev team. The trip was worth the 6 hours it took me.

Tons of level 40 plus Mobs. Even saw a 49 5-6 dot Ember of something on his own small island.

If you get the chance I highly recommend swimming around alot.

Ahh! A fellow explorer!

On mid-northern Thestra there are a couple small islands (The Deebs, very pretty area) for housing. Check these islands out, and on that hugeass bridge (I'm sure you seen) there is a BASEJUMPING quest! :D

The deebs are cool but the cliffs are deadly--there are other islands with mining on them for ore and stone also with trees and plants for harvesting.

For people that say content is missing--I say explore a little. I saw tons on 40-50 Mobs. Some very cool looking stuff too.

There are some areas you will only get to with flying mounts it looks like.

Try sailing a sloop down a waterfall.

That's always fun

I guess the problem isn't so much that there aren't enough content, but the world's a little big for some people. Some expect to see massive amounts of content at every corner they take, etc.

The size of the world draws attention to empty spaces, but isn't indicative of the amount of content. That's what I think.

I agree with this.

And yeah, Bard running the world is a pretty sweet time away from the "regular" play.

I swam half way around the other night. I decided I wanted to swim to New Targ instead of run. Took me about an hour and it was about half way around, you must have stopped a lot as I stopped maybe twice and it still only took me an hour'ish.

Without waterbreathing I can't keep my head over water in deep water (swimming apparently only works in shallow waters), but I did once swim from Arlinor's Retreat (sp?) to the northern tip of Thestra taking rivers the whole way.

That was one of my favorite journeys I took in this game so far. It was beautiful and peaceful (and sometimes deadly), and it's nice to see how many unobvious content they put in the game.

I look forward to someday being able to swim under the ocean with you, Dennar :)

(Maybe they'll make water breathing rings for warriors.)

The emberfire guy me n my grp kill every other day NOT ITEMIZED as alot of others like for instance Captain Dreavers in "Plains of Anguish" hes actually a quest you have to gather his parts (they drop of he mobs there in the town) leg arm torso head you take it to the gravesite click on it he spawns we kill and guess what NO DROP NOT ITEMIZED. Or how about "Island of Trials" Quest there also you get a horn you summon the beasts that ARE BUGGED you cant kill them either and they cant kill you.they just wander around aimlessly. Yeah the world is huge and I explore alot unfortunately most the stuff I find doesn't work.

Not saying the game sucks just the broke stuff in the game. I explore I get my guild out there and end up with nothing and then feel foolish for dragging them there.

Kojan has some amazing scenery. The big Cerols Isle also has a ton of level 40 mobs and some quests.

Wow that really is something, I remember having to swim across that lake to get from Tursh to Three Rivers...that was enough for me.

Must have been some great sights along the way. :)

If you compliment the dev team again, we will be forced to ask you to leave these boards

I tried to swim to Dev-isle and there is this forcefield that teleports you away when you hit it.

We must find a way to comprimise this island!

The hacker in you all demands it ! :pirate:

My latest scheme is to build a huge catapult on Kojan and shoot myself over the wall :ninja:

Supposedly the first one to find a way to get to Dev Isle gets a free Flying mount

For those swimming enthusiasts...is it possible to swim from one continent to another? Perhaps by swimming through the portals that the boats use?
