I had to abandon this timed quest... now I cannot pick it up again. Is this a bug or intended?

It was disabled a bit ago due to an exploit. I'll follow up on the exploit to see if I can turn that portion of the quest back on.

Wow! Now that is customer service! I can't wait to cowboy up on the Griffon and try the quest again!

It worked fine for us about two weeks ago. I had abandoned it originally after not being able to commit to an hour, so had to decline the quest....I then couldnt take it again.

I got a guildie who hadnt done the quest line to share it with me when he got there and in doing so we noticed that anyone we shared it with would have their timer refreshed to 60mins...doing the quest is no problem in the time given as the place you need to go to is about 20 seconds West, but the griffons are soooo much fun we had to play about a bit :D

If you take them out of the area they are supposed to be limited to they simply disappear, so be aware of that but also you do retain the 400% movement speed, which is great fun! It stays until you perform any normal movement restricting action, so it's not really any use.
