Can someone here tell me about "Headhunter Armor" from the Seawatch Arena area? Are these class specific armors? Are they tiered rewards? Like could a caster get a range of elvels of gear or is it one set? Anyone have links or guides thru this area? And how do the rewards compare to say... wardship stuff?
Thanks in advance.

Not as good as Wardship. Class not specific. There is chain, cloth, plate armor.
They are tiered. Necklace (plus appropriate upgrades Tier 1-3), Pants (Tier 4), BP (Tier 5).
Quests can be duo'd / trio'd / small grouped except maybe BP final fight.
Decent armor, easy to get, tons of exp, tons of cash, EXPENSIVE to repair. When your other gear is costing copper, like 40c to repair, these pieces will cost 2-3 silver.

It's nowhere near as good as wardship stuff but it's really easy to get. I solo'ed most of it and duoed some parts. I did the last part in a trio but we obliterated it, so I suppose I could have duo'ed it as well.
For a caster, IMHO only the neck is a must have. The pants and chest aren't bad either, but you can probably buy better at broker.

Depending on your class, the entire line is soloable. Even the final guy is soloable ( psi/necro/druid ).
He's a 5-dot but doesn't cast and snareable. The only GOTCHA is that he spawns as you click a chest... so if you're prepared for it ( put up a ward or something, begin running as soon as he spawns, etc ) then you get into snare range and win. He hits for over 1K each hit so don't stand there long.

He casts. You need to stay at the absolute max possible range to avoid it. its a nasty dot. Our druid in the trio was getting hit with it if he stepped just inside his max cast range. We all got hit with it. He does melee for 1k and that hurts.
He also was getting rid of our snares. The druid's snare and my bard snare would come off at weird times when they shouldn't.
We could have trio'd him down (SK as the 3rd) but we just grabbed a shaman / sorc / warrior standing there and killed him in less than 10 seconds.

Oh right.. yeah I guess he might cast occasionally but he's not a full-time caster. I must have countered them all and didn't realize it.
He didn't break any snares though.. odd. I just killed him for a friend 4 days ago.

That isn't the armor from the Hunters line. The Hunters line Tier 1-3 is just a necklace. Goes from uncommon - upgraded to heroic.
Tier 4 is rare pants.
Tier 5 is rare bp.
We may be talking about different gear?

Ok - figured it out.
Rank 1 - Necklace (caster)
1324587
Rank 2 - Necklace (caster)
1324588
Rank 3 - Necklace (caster)
1324589
Rank 4 - Legs
1324598
Rank 5 - Chest
1324604
Not bad stuff. missing some serious SDF though, i'd say.
No - i don't know what I am talking about. What is the name of the rare BP?
1324604 ?
and pants?
That looks like the right BP. The pants should be "Bounty Hunter's Pantaloons"

Those were great quests/hunts. I hope there are/will be more ranks somewhere else. Beats the hell out of kill X rats. I would give even less hints to make them feel even more like rare hunts. Not a "dot on map" hunts :)

ok! back on topic :)

A duo can clear the whole quest line in like less than an hour so for the effort, they are very good rewards.
The +evo is not to be underestimated... Nobody could ever confirm what it does exactly, but I used those pants for a while and I felt like I had way less resists on higher level mobs. If your typical leveling mob is 2-3 levels above like me, this makes a far greater difference than any amount of +SDF would, IMHO.
The best part of that whole line was the "#5 is missing" quest. I laughed so hard i think I pee'd a little, and then went afk to go across the street and pick up "Short Circuit" from Blockbuster.
"No disassemble!"

So the next question - anyone have a SS of the tunic?

No. Looks like a robe, green and yellow I think. Pretty cool looking on a druid from what I remember.

Very cool! I will look forward to that then lol. The lameass shirt I wear right now is so lame... looks like a plain cotton jerkin. like a level 1 graphic.
