LOL

I just quit EQ because the single group game is DEAD. Completely. It is all about raiding now. There are very few players left who even bother to log on outside of raids unless they have to faction or grind flags to unlock another raid zone. You'll rarely (if ever) find a player under level 70, unless they are an alt twink or somebody's foraging bot. The new content is uninspired, and the pathing in the latest expansion is so hideous it completely neutralizes the art of pulling.

Everquest was a GREAT game, until the developers stopped being developers and started being caretakers. I can't imagine trying to play Everquest in it's current condition. It is on life support, barely breathing.

Actually, EQ now is MORE ABOUT THE SINGLE GROUP GAME THAN THE RAID.
its not even up for debate, ever since OoW there has been a noticeable focus on single group content. There arent a whole lot of low level people (though its nowhere near as dead as you exaggerate), hence the point of forming this guild.

Gonna have to agree with Dark Knight, maybe its different on the server you played on Teakbois, but when I quit in December that's how it was:mad:

I call BS.

I JUST QUIT EQ. I was one of the top 5 tanks on my server (level 75 with 1922 AA), and one of the top 30 tanks serverwide (with a great reputation). I could sit for 4 or more hours /lfg, and not find folks to even FORM a group. Log on an alt (2 alts with max AA and epic 2.0's), same issue.

Folks log on only to raid. It's a fact, and saying it isn't true is inaccurate. If EQ cared one bit about the single group game folks wouldn't be leaving in droves, and I would still be there.

My posts aren't exaggeration at all, don't call them so because YOU choose not to deal with reality.

Maybe its server specific? i dont know...but last time i logged in my level 70 toon i saw over 20 people on the LFG list.

And you cant deny that EQ has focused mroe towards the single player game:

DoN: mostly single group content...an upgraded LDoN with some raid progression which requires single group missions done for faction
DoDH: main thing is the spell arcs, which are single group missions again...
PoR: This may be the exception, ahvent spent any time in it so know little baout it
TSS: Low level zones, lots of quests, big zones with lots of spots to camp. TSS is the closest to the older expansions (Kunark/Velious/Luclin) than anything else
TBS: guess what! more single group missions for gear and faction....
