Mutated Stingers Part 3 - Vsurog Moor

The quest Mutated Stingers Part 3 is bugged. The quest asks you to find a source of the dragonfly mutation and to bring it back to Deathwalker D'edra in Vsurog Moor. Well I happen to find this "source" (trying not to give away a spoiler) and I clicked on it. It was a click object, which when I did click on it it opened up a loot table and there was nothing on it. Upon opening it I got my quest update but no item.

So I go and turn in the quest and the next part tells me to bring this "stone" from the previous quest. It says 0/1 like I should have it, and also says " Return to Elder Rossen with the rock you found in the swamp and tell him the good news"

No stone, no dice? Bugged for sure. Devs please help.

I just tested this right now on our internal dev server and I got the Smooth Glowing Rock needed for the next step of the quest.

I tried to delete part 4, since I can't do part 3 again, and see if the guy gives me the rock. No dice. I even went back and see if I could harvest the darn thing and still, no dice. Any help here? Perhaps I should petition, I have already bugged it.

same happened with myself and a guildie. Got up to the last quest to hand in and get reward, he asks for a glowing rock and we didn't have anything.

If you petition it, I'll make sure the GM's give you the stone needed to complete the next part. All they'll have to do then is verify you completed step 3 (which they can do).

I'm still puzzled why this isn't working correctly though since it wasn't pushed live until after everything was completed.

I petitioned in game yesterday with this exact issue. I got a mail saying to /bug it. Also said to try emailing customer support and they would try to see about returning any lost item if any.
GM was Joshuko.
He stated in the mail that I was offline, however that mail came in while I was roaming Flordiel, so I dont know how he didnt find me. /shrug

Also Eli, i have a lvl 50 pally buddy we did this before last patch (when it was first implemented) i got all 3 quests and finished, but my buddy when he turned in the stinger to the elder (part 1) he didnt receive a follow up quest... we relogged, tried after this patch etc... no go...

may want to review the code just in case see if anything could cause this...thanks

Hello the hole guild group had the same Problem some days ago @ this stepp on Infinuem Server.

Activated the glowing stone but loot table was empty.

Quests Status - 0/1 Glowing Stone and talk with some other npc (soz i cant remember his name...)

Will try a petition tonight :p

I did this quest last night after finally finding the crystal. Put in my petition and went on my way to other things. About 15 minutes later a GM popped up and asked me to explain my problem. I told him about not getting the glowing rock and he promptly gave me one. End of problem.

The same thing happened to me I petitoned and was told to wait patiently till Devs fixed it. even filed a bug report.

So do I petition again?

Every time I petition I get someone from the Crimson Fellowship who tells me to bug and wait patiently for Devs to fix it and to have a happy adventure.

I had same problem with quest. I sent in a petition and within an hour I had a Gm standing next to me giving me the missing rock...and I completed quest.

So maybe my timing with petition was good.

I was very pleased with response and how situation was handled.

This same thing went on with a lowbie (~20) quest in NE Thestra, you had to find a ring (i think) on a skeletal corpse in some ruins. Tons of people reported that there was nothing on the corpse for them. There are threads on it here, I could find them if required.

Sounds like the same bug here... And maybe checking out both quests will point to something weird/awry/different in these quests.

Hey guys, the problem is at hand so don't /bug it, /petition and tell them your situation. I had to do so about 3 times then the 3rd time a GM sent me the item in the mail. Worked out great...but my quest log didn't update the item...it still completed the quest though. Just petition till you get the item

It is a shame that the reason I left the game in the first place was due to so many bugs and issues around quests etc. Where this issue is reported in April and now 8 months later the same issue/bug exists. I click on the crystal. Completed the quest I was on turned in and then was told to take the smooth stone I have looted to this other NPC. The stone didn't go into my inventory as I has already read this post before I tried to complete the quest.

Since comming back on the Free access, I have made so many bug reports and had crashes from clean fresh installs, fallen through the world, getting killed when nothing hits me. Not only me my wife has had the same issues on a different machine.

could anyone give me some directions, or a hint or anything really? I'm so very tired of running randomly around this swamp looking for some rock.
