How do you change your bind location?

I started out in the halfling starting village, and made my way to the other village that has the auctioneer type of guy (same village that has the two barns that have npc's that teach you crafting), and in the center of this village is what I presume is a bind stone, so I clicked on it. No confirmation was given to me, but later on I used my recall and ended up back in that village.

Today I used recall and ended up back in the halfling starting town again.

I must not be doing something right. Any clues to give me on what to do to make it work or maybe what I thought was a bind point really isn't. But it did glow when I moused over it.

The bindstones are the floating blue crystals in the broken rock pillars. When you mouse over it, clicking will start a cast bar. When it's finished casting, you're bound there.

Don't move while it is casting.

I guess it wasn't a bind stone then, must have been some quest item or something like that.

You can also find out your current bind location by hovering your pointer over your Recall hotkey. It will show in the tooltip.

I highly suggest turning off that tooltip feature and/or setting it to show tooltips on Alt-hover

Laaaagggy with them on all the time, not to mention irritating as bloody hell.
