Heh.
Sad.
*deep breath*
Ok...
Anyone got anything good or bad to say about this game? Saw the free trial, haven't played it since I beta'd it. Hated it. Never picked up the final release. But now I'm looking for something different.
So.. have at it please. Lemme know if its worth a 2 hour download, or if it's still a horrid piece of trash like it used to be.
/sigh
I feel so ashamed.

It's the same game, but they added a solo option to most of the quests up to level 7ish or so last I heard.
New content and whatnot of course, an AH and mini-arenas for PvP (which are totally optional).
Other than that, it's the same.

Isn't there a D&D O thread already? I know we had one post NDA drop. Not sure on if there was one post-release. Pretty sure there was.

Its okay. Not grand. Okay.
Same engine as LOTRO, and you can see it in the dwarf models and some of the armor looks.
Still almost all instancing. And, quite frankly, not worth the cash, imho.
And I liked it when I left. :)

The thing I liked best about DDO was the built in voice communication, it made the game alot of fun.
I played DDO for about a year with a friend of mind. I probably would not have played it that long without a real life friend. He still plays but although I'm no longer playing VGSOH, I do not have the heart (or stomach) to re-open my DDO account. I feel like there is nothing they could add to the game to make me want to play it again. Although the new content is added frequently, it starts to feel repetitive and you start to feel like you are being put through the ringer over and over again.
I would say the game is worth a try but don't expect it to keep you interested very long. If you are waiting for AOC or Warhammer, DDO might hold you over till then.
