Any Sigil GMs or persons of influence with Sigil that could help with this issue, please, please assist.

Here is the email describing the issue that I have sent to customersupport@sigilgames.com
To date I have had no response on this issue except an in-game mail telling me to send and email to customersupport.

Hello,

I'm still waiting on a response to this issue.
I have filed in-game petitions with no direct response from a GM in-game, one did send me a game mail instructing me to send CustomerSupport an email.

I have sent you not just one but a couple of emails using different means available as well as this direct email address given to me by TSR-GarethC.

I am following up because I am concerned that this issue is not being addressed when it can be very quickly resolved.

The issue again:

On Wed. May 2nd, at approximatly 12am., I was completing my last quest for the ShadowHound mount series. I had in my possession the Mastered Shadowhound, Used Shadowhound trap. The quest giver told me to purchase a saddle from him as a quest requirement and then speak with him again.
At the point I clicked and purchased the saddle that very precise moment, the game briefly flashed a loading screen then dropped me to the character selection screen.

I logged back in immediately and checked inventory. I had the saddle I just purchased but both the Mastered Shadowhound and the used Shadowhound trap were gone.

The quest giver shows a blue quest shield and checking him, he shows that I have completed the saddle requirement for the "Riding a Shadowhound" quest but that I am missing the Mastered Shadowhound.

I cannot complete this quest as I'm effectively stuck in limbo.

Please restore my Mastered Shadowhound so that I may complete this quest and finally receive my very hard earned Shadowhound mount.

Station Name: shadowraaf
Character: Kagekiri
Server: Gulgrethor
Date/time: 5/2/07 approx. 12am.

This is an extremely frustrating situation to be in and I don't want this to be a reason that I cancel my subscription.
Please resolve this as a high priority issue or at the very least send me an email response notifiying me that you have received my issue, that its being looked into with and ETA of resolution.

Thank you for your assistance with this matter.

Any assistance the community could provide would be greatly appreciated.

And what exactly gives you the idea that the administrators of your server would read this forum at their worktime... or at any other time ?

Do an ingame /petition instead. Or at least write into the official forum on the official site, http://vgplayers.station.sony.com/

Honestly, wait time can be up to 4 or 5 days for investigations. They will likely also tell you to simply do it over again.

I would send an in game e-mail every single day until they respond. I've heard that others have sent PM's to Elrar and gotten a better response, but no guarantee's there.

I'm exhausting all avenues of communication to Sigil - since their customer support model is what it is.

I have received a response from a GM finally. Maybe this forum post helped maybe it didn't.

Of course the first thing I did was a /petition as was stated in my post and I even posted in the official Game Issue forum on vgplayers.

I did all these things prior to actually posting this post.
If you were in my shoes you would probably take a different tone then what you posted, hopefully you never encounter the situation that I am in as I would not wish it on anyone.

Thank you for adding to the wonderful supportful community that we Vanguard players so richly enjoy.

Hi Kagekiri,

I understand your frustration and apologize for the delayed response.

For the unicorn and shadowhound quest lines, abandoning and re-taking the quest you're on will generally restore a lost quest-given item, especially if that item is needed to continue along the quest line.

Yea that works sometimes Faratha until you come along that one quest that doenst let you reget it once you abandon then your screwed. I hope the OP makes sure you can get again before he abandons

FANTASTIC - I followed your adivice and adbandoned the quest and lucky for me the quest giver allowed me to retake it. This as you suggeted returned my lost items and i was able to complete my quest and get my shadowmount.

Thank you so much for taking the time to assist and in this case it was a success.

Thanks again.
