Well i ran across your quest for positive stories about gaming and thought i would share one with you.
My EQ toon when i first started my 2nd attempt at playing EQ (originally started sept 2000, then quit for a year) I made a High Elf Cleric named - Tauhs Meabrew - yea, yea GM's blasted me for the surname so i killed off the surname at lvl 22. Well at 22 i went to High Hold Keep to try and find a group, i met 4 ppl thatday..Ielenya, a 22 paladin....and 3 others i cant remember.
Ielenya was very chatty and so am I , which is why i love groups over soloing...also easier on a cleric. Anyway, we started chatting about everything, we began playing everyday together, i showed her where to hunt for the best experience and she kept me laughing and made my gameplay more enjoyable each day.
This saturday, Nov 26th 2005...The beautiful woman behind that paladin & I will be married at 4pm in Northern Virginia. We met 2 years ago in EQ, and still are both avid gamers today.
