Why would they just throw up random images done by Parkinson not even related to the Vanguard IP into a Vanguard Game video? There were images from DragonLance in there and otehr various unrelated iamges from his previous works - why do that?
This must be bogus.

Why would it be bogus? They took a great deal of effort to show off Keith's art work in the video. I felt they were trying to establish the visual style of the game in the viewer's mind and communicate that the game's artistic style was based on Keith's artistic style.
The video also shows game content not yet in the game. You thank that is bogus too?

Maybe it's just me, but that doesn't look quite like Vanguard to me. The models are right, the textures seem to be a bit off. Maybe they (or Sigil) have been prepping a graphics revamp?

They actually look kind of bad if you ask me. My wifes computer makes way better ss's then those.

I'm pretty sure those were screen captures from the video.

OK...if they were showing off his artwork from previous stuff yes, but how many people are familiar with the artist behind the game? How many Dragonlance readers see the images and think - "Oh cool! Draconians are in Vanguard!" That is a little misleading.
I love Kieth Parkinson's work, some of the best thats been done next to Elmore and Whelan and I'd hate to see others think that what they see in this video is what they are going to see in game - like Draconians and such.
I wish we would see Draconians myself. OMG that would rock.

There is a difference between shwoing Dragonlance Draconians and the dragons we see in Vanguard. Draconians are huminoid dragons. :)

You have to forgive him. Probably less than 5% of the playerbase can play VG in highest quality.

Actually, the textures looked a bit muddier than I recall them being, but I'm guessing that was just due to the settings on the machine they used to take the SS.

That's actually the raid zone Stirgrad(spellcheck). The volcano you see in SW Qalia. I saw the video yesterday and it appear to show this place in action for like the last half of the video. Looks really cool.

Those shots look low resolution to me. Maybe they have an update in the works to greatly improve performance by lowering character resolution? They still look good.
