I wish that Silky didn't have to die with it! My favorite forumns of all time and now I can't even find a discussion point to engage with people here.

I'm pretty sure they plan to expand to be a more general gaming site now that Vanguard alone isn't enough to generate a lot of traffic plus the fact that official forums are taking a lot of the focus away from the original purpose of the site.

WTF, vanguard is reborn hopefully because we're gonna have some unlazy people hopefully working on the game now. . .and a game is only dead to the person that no longer wants to play it.

Vanguard is far from dead.

The Silky Venom site has seen a big drop in posts because most of those who actually play Vanguard are now posting on the SOE official forums, leaving all the non-playing, flame-throwing trolls to use affiliate sites.

So, now what are all of you "Vanguard is dead" people going to talk about, since all those with a different opinion are off enjoying the game and posting in a more constructive environment ?

With that said, I want to thank the Silky Venom guild and staff for providing this forum. Without official forums, this was my main source of information on the game. Unfortunately, it also became a playground for those who just like to stir up trouble.

Well unfortunately I am leaving, Because everyone else I used to have discussions with is leaving/left.

2ndly The Official Forumns for Vanguard do nothing but Hurt/Take away forumn goers from Silky.

3rdly There used to be 200-250+ Viewing at this time..Now look at it, 90? That's more than half gone. Half left because they left Vanguard, The others went to more general MMO sites.

The rest just post on official where they know they will be seen/heard from Developers.

Lastkly like I said, I like Silky, I liked the way it was moderated. Also by the way seems most the Admins here have even quit, Ive seen posts from many of them saying they aren;t "Active", So why don't you ask them to leave?

Anyway no biggy, Just thought it was a good site, I got plenty of others to go to. I just enjoyed it here more because of the Moderation, Profanity and rudeness gets a bit old on FOH.

We've been talking about things like de-focusing the site and including other games. Could be just other MMOGs, could be all games. Nothing final has been decided. We actually discussed this months ago, at that time I heavily expanded the "Industry & Other games section".

I'd recommend if you don't want to see Silky poof away you may want to start becoming more vocal in the non-Vanguard areas (in a good way) and post a something in the thread linked above.
