Playing around with this for now... Add yourself / location to the interactive map! Let's see where everyone is from :)

Well, since it was recently pointed out to me that a map was started over on the OVF's, I guess this may be a bit redundant.

But, what the hell,it's up now anyway for those of us that don't visit the other forums too terribly often :)

On the map another member of Team UK. Anyone got a link for the OVF one. I really don't bother trying to keep up on the posts over there lately.

/edit Holy Crap Skarlath, you are in Maidenhead? I'm just outside of Reading and working Wokingham.

Woooo! :D

Lets get tshirts! On second thoughts, it would be too hard coming up with a logo that would symbolise our unity and the common factor that is the flag we all stand under. That's that idea scrapped. ;)

GuyJantica
11-29-2005, 05:26 PM
Are you kidding? All we need is like a picture of the Earth from the north pole (southern hemisphere bites :p ) and ghost in the Sigil logo. Heh, that sounds funny... Sigil logo... it's like logo logo or Sigil sigil. And then we can just write "Sigil Nation" under it.

And me and Nath in Laurel... Both hired by Genda for VG Crafters staff, we live in the same town and don't know each other. Small small world.

pretty impressive mapping features.. Betcha can't find my dot out in the middle of the ocean.

oh crud i've said too much....

Map is actually pretty accurate, though my "town/city" is a bit further southeast :)

The best part is Haleakala highway shows all of it's switchbacks going up the mountain, but if you didnt know that was a mountain.. boy it'd be one wierd road....

edit: Just saw the sattelite view options.. Gotta love how they don't actually have a close up /grin. There is nothing here, move along!

Oregon's great, there's tons to do for the outdoor enthusiasts! My parents just built their retirement home there, north of Coos Bay, on some bluffs overlooking the ocean. It's sooo pretty!

I didn't know you were a Finn Zenya. :D Cool. My husband is a Finn and once he has his dual citizenship it's a good chance I'll be living over there myself, since I like just about everything about the place. It's been reassuring to me that I've seen more and more Finns in gaming lately...gives me hope that I'll fit in OK.

The cold is a little rough...but I grew up in Maine, so it won't be that much harder. And in Maine we didn't have a sauna in every home, so in some ways it's worse there. :P

yeah the 'net' opens you up to all sorts of hairy critters if you let it.

Even without the internet, that has changed... depressing to say the least...

aye... it's because now both parents work, less parenting of kids as a result, less family, less structure and morality in society...

Why? it's big industry greed, and productivity...
they've doubled the work force, split pay in half, and well... you know the rest.
