The forums are getting boring we need to tell some good stories.

So there I was(no shit), I had been running from Southwatch to Hathor Zi and when I zoned into Qalia I happened to notice Silvermage relentlessly spamming chat about getting owned in pvp, the poor job Sigil did on this game, he was going to quit, and oh my god the world is going to miss me, blah blah blah. Yea, I quit too and look where that got me.

Well, being the dick that I am, I decided to get him even more worked up by the usual stop crying go care bear. He apparently got so upset, he shows up in Hathor Zi and decides that he is going to teach me a lesson. So while I was typing he nuked me three times and I was defeated. Silvermage now rules the world. Little did he know I completed my mission in Hathor Zi, my recall wasn't up, and he just gave me a free port back to Southwatch.

Of course he ran his mouth not knowing he just did me the biggest favor anyone has done in my time of VG, travel 50k in a few seconds. I did send him a tell thanking him and laughing irl. He did not respond.

I do wonder whatever happened to Silvermage after that event. I hope he didn't do anything stupid.

Ok ummm....

One time I saw a dark on the beach and further up the beach I saw an order so I told the dark watch it high lvl order about 60 seconds north of you.

Then the order starts heading south so I knew what was going to happen so I invis. ran right past him and he didn't see me apparently so I duck into some trees east of the exsposed dark using him as the bait so to speak.

Sure enough the order attacks him. So I come running out thinking cool this necro is only using 1 pet piece of cake. Well as he takes down the "bait" I'm standing behind him a bit unloading on him.

Only to realize hey they can Heal?!

So I think OK I'll take down his pet first then quickly deal with him.

I Click on his pet as it's charging "I'm sorry that is an invalid target." So I spam everything on the pet I can, "I'm sorry that is an invalid target." Meanwhile me and his pet are running circles around each other. And I'm saying out loud WTF I thought this was suppose to be a PvP server what's going on.

Then I go after the necro get some good shots off but his heals pretty much get me killed as I can't target the pet and the pet is doing all the damage.

Then another necro appears and starts camping me by 1-shot'ing me with his 3 pets.

On the first double XP weekend we went to Skawlra and bumped into another guild fighting the blue named, so we ganked them and took the named.

Their guild leader started spamming /shout about how much we sucked and how they were going to grief us until we logged. They came back into Skawlra, with an average 4 level advantage on us. We saw them coming and invised since they had no see invis. They invised also (both groups had a bard but no see invis). We stood there for a minute and they taunted us in shout, then pulled a named, so we uninvised and ganked them and took their named again.

They all logged except the guildleader who quit the guild out of embarassment.

True story.

I actually had some good pvp battles on the rock. One of the spots where you jump down and can't get back up, you can range people and just murder them from that ledge.

I have yet to be in a fair or even good fight on tharridon.

I wish I had rolled on a pve server.

I also have not met one person who I wish to know except for the people in my guild. Tharridon is full of assholes.

After playing Dark Age of Camelot and experiencing strategic siege simulation warfare I must admit I'm in a Twilight Zone here. Sony has this concept that pvp is just about lifting the coding to kill people. Everyone else apparently in the mmorpg world that Sony wil be competing with has a different outlook.

That being said, my "favorite" pvp moment was...oh look a flock of turtles!!!

I took my 20 psi to Soutwatch for a decent fight with some guildies. Only a few of the opposing faction were even in my level range so I had it pretty rough starting out. I'd never pvp'd with my psi up until this point and I had no idea what officially worked and what officialy wasn't supposed to work. A couple of things happened:

1.) I tried to maintain invis as much as possible enroute to southwatch, on the road I came across a lvl 25 ranger riding away from the battle, I figured this guy was in my level range so I'd go a round with him and see how I measured up. I dropped 3 dots and a schism on him before he could un-a$$ his horse, but the rest of my spells were resisted. When he began to bare down on my with his bow I put a time trick on him. Just my luck a level 26ish 3 dot came walking by, so I charmed him and sent him on my target. The poor guy had to sit and watch me bring this ogre looking thing to him and procede to destory him. 3 dots and a schism later the dude was coined and sending tells about how I was over powered.


2.) When I finally made it to southwatch I got rolled a couple of times needless to say. It was pretty fun fighting though. The highlight of the night was when I got the better of a 30 sorc that was retreating. She turned around to attack me and I got a crit chain off that did about 2k damage total and she was coined for 2gold.

me and 2 guildmates were killing a 5 dot named on the isle of madness, we had 1 5 dot and a 4 dot on us. I was 39 dk, friends were 39 warrior and bm). This level 43 order sorc decides we are vulnerable so he aggros another 4 dot mob and trains it on the BM, and proceeds to 2-shot our BM. the warrior engages with the order guy to keep him busy and i'm fending off the 5 dot mob. i get to about half health and knowing the healer is down, i say F- IT, shadow step to the sorc, word of doom and 2 hits and the order guy dropped. we run off the aggro from the 2 mobs still on us, come back and rez our BM.

hah that guy was WTFPWND!

I wish we had pvp options in VG. Every friend I have tells me that I don't know Sony if I expect pvp imagination from the developers. I think that's unfortunate. I heard SWG pvp was pretty decent though. If even we had battle-grounds as an option in some instanced area - that would make VG have a more competitive edge with the pvp genre of mmorpgs coming out. I know I'm wasting my time talking about it - but heh gotta mention it I guess.

Attack any Ebonlore at any time in VG and they teleport away! YAY for 3rd party fluffers!

Oh wait if you kill them before they manage to pull of a teleport they have GM Yinga come and force your account to log out while he recovers there stones for them!

one a lvl 50 sorc jumped on me (lvl 50 cleric) and my brother (lvl 50 dk) while in a heavy fight with 5 4dots. i was mezed by the sorc. my brother did word of doom and instant killed the sorc...hehe. :P

i was farming mobs in floridel. a lvl 48 ranger and a lvl 50 cleric jumped me. but the oder cleric aggroed a low lvl mob...but the mob casted silence (1 minute) on him. so he couldnt heal. the ranger didnt know that and tried to melee me. i think he realised that his cleric buddy was silenced when he droped down dead in front of me. a few seconds later his cleric buddy was owned too :).

me, 50dk, 47 disc grouped in rahz. disc was instant killed by the sorc with criti chain, me mezed (as always) and he tried to kite the DK. while walking backwards he aggroed 4 4dot scorpions and died. hehe.

i jumped a lvl 50 monk. i doted him, hit him 2 times and he run away. no chance for me to get him. i turn around, going to kill a few mobs and 20 seconds later i got message i got 50 infamy and 12silver..hehe. dots ftw :).
