I'm not quite getting why it would be funny or immature.

maybe a caption... something like...

"Yeah baby, I'll give you some turbulance"

... would clarify things a bit

But it's not 'humping' it, it's a piggy back. Like a fireman's carry or how you would let your child ride on your shoulders at Disneyland. Neither of which I find funny or immature.

Funny but cool as hell at the same time. Going to make space travel so much more cheaper.

You know NASA actually considered building a structure all the way into space that would work somewhat like an elevator.

It is moronic ideas like those that let me know just how stupid those guys really are.

The space elevator isn't a stupid idea at all. It would allow for the construction of larger space going vessels made in space, which would allow them to make trips through the solar system much more practical considering that one of the biggest problems of getting things into orbit is fuel do to so.

if it ever happens they figure it will take up to 3 months for something to go from the ground and into orbit... to me that doesn't sound all that efficient either

One thing at a time or is it like a conveyor line where they could just start stacking it up and handle it in 3 months?

Nah, I'm the boss of my department and I make decent money for little work. It's really an easy job, but it's governmental so I have to leave my imagination at the door.

As my boss says, "Are you looking for logic in the system again?"

Well, sure, if I was allowed to hallucinate while at work (that's part of the whole gov't thing: No original thought, no fantasy's, no hallucinations, no imagination, no thinking outside of the box). That's OK, though cause I get to save up all that stuff for when I am off of work.

There's always alcohol, or even better Pot.

But if you really have to quit I'll support you 100% and not tempt you as much as I can.

I used to. Wasn't uncommon for me to go through a 1.75L of rum a week.

Had my first child on May 15th.

Grats on the baby!

It'll be tough to get away from drinking but having the baby will certainly give some extra strength to help you out.

You can still go out and have fun though when family watches them for a night.

Thank you.

I'm doing relatively well, actually. She's been home for nearly two months and I've had 2 fifths in that time (spaced out).

My issue is that I binge drink (and then get on game!) and that is what I really need to stop. In my heart, I don't want to give up on all my precious clear liquid so I won't actually stop (why is the rum gone?).
