"There are 3 new resists coming with the Pantheon: Holy, Shadow & Planar. You'll start seeing the first two quite often inside the Pantheon and a little bit of Planar damage. This isn't removing old resists and they are still used but expect to see more of the new ones here on out. The Character Sheet hasn't been updated yet with the new resists but it will be soon enough."

Because they needed more than the original six? It sounds like a design crutch to just not balance using the original resistances and make up new ones.

I know what you mean. It sounds kind of short-sighted as it will likely create more issues down the road.

The very next post after Tiraslee's about these changes points out they still haven't fixed all of the issues with the 6 we already have and now they want to increase that number by 50%.

Please make sure to test and ensure that the damage log and the numbers above the mobs heads matches up on these new ones?

You still haven't ever fixed the damage reporting issues for the 6 damage types currently in game. E.g., mental healed mobs showing healing above the head and damage in the damage log, spiritual healed mobs showing healing above the head and damage in the text log, etc. etc. I've only reported it like 15 times for the existing 6 damage types, just worried that adding 3 more damage types is just going to increase the problem by 50%.
