Another noob question! About Favor.

I got a bit concerned earlier. Someone in chat mentioned something about only being able to get 150,000 Favor total, or something....

What is the deal with this? I have already spent about 40,000 Favor on some tier 1 PVP gear. I am hoping though that I can some day replace it with a bunch of tier 6 gear, but I am worried now that there is a limit so you have to carefully plan what you buy?

Have I got the wrong end of the stick? I hope so!

I don't know about the cap, in regards to favor, but I do know that planarite has (or had) a 30,000 cap. So I would believe that favor has a cap.

Ahh, yeah it would make sense. But I'm hoping not, would love a full set of that tier 6 stuff. :)

Ohhhh. I did some searching and I think the cap on favor is just what you can store up. So once you reach 150,000, you have to spend it or you can't earn any more. But you could spend that 150k and then just save up yet another 150k and buy even more gear, and then repeat over and over :D

p.s. Did my first raid Rifts last night. It was fun! It's such a casual game really, but that suits me fine for now. We were all done within an hour or two, no big arguments etc.. it's just fun and gamey. For now I'm just desperate for the big patch (1.3?) because I think that is going to add more content and also they are allowing free server transfers so hopefully my empty server will fill up a bit.

Yes, that's correct. Same with the planarite. It's just a ceiling on how much you can store at one time without spending it. You can spend unlimited.

That's cool about the storing of stuff :D That means I can now eventually have a full set of tier 6 gear! If my interest in the game holds out that long. But so far so good.

As for the server transfers I read that they are now saying that low population people can't move. Only high to low. Bit of a downer... But everyone is just hoping that people will move to our server and liven it up a bit. The population is absolutely horrible at the moment, although it has been ideal for levelling... There was never anybody in the way, so blasting to 50 was easy and fun and nice. Now though, me, my friends, and this new guild we joined, are all desperate for people to move. The AH is just a joke, like 12 items on there :P And it will help with finding groups and stuff too.

For the first round of moves. They plan to do this first round, take a look, do more, allow people to move off of low pop, etc. It's new technology and systems for them so they didn't want to have everyone going crazy with the moves right off the bat.
