I think most beta tests allow you to acknowledge that you are in the beta, but you are bound by the NDA to not discuss anything within the beta or impressions, etc. Would this be the same for SW:TOR beta?

As far as I know, that is correct. You can say you are in beta, but nothing else.

I got in around July/August. Anyone else in the beta?

I've played the beta on my friend's computer but I didn't sign any NDA. I still probably shouldn't say anything though I guess.

I just got a beta invite...not sure when I'll be in. I'll give it a fair shake and see what it's like.

They probably have words like "Additionally, your participation in the Game Testing Program is subject to the Game Testing Agreement" or something in the agreement, so read what ever that is.
For example, the agreement may have an addendum A in which it could say that membership in the game program is only one of two things that can legally be disclosed, the other being that there IS a game program. If the company was smart, they could include an addendum B that lists items that cannot be discussed due to confidenciality. If membership in the game program is listed in addendum A, it would be safe to assume that this restriction would not be placed in addendum B, but you should verify for yourself if you had access to such a thing.

The agreement has a "lawful disclosures" section, which contains two lines -
A) There is a beta test.
B) You are participating in said beta test.
That's it. Everything else is on the down-low.
