Cornering the Market?

I know this isn't really on-topic for Vanguard Tradeskills, but I found a story about 2 people that have tried to corner the market on tradeskills in WoW on one server. I posted it over at Vanguard Crafters (http://www.vanguardcrafters.com/), It's interesting and thought-provoking. I'd be interested to know what you all think.

Although it is very enterprising for these two players to corner the market, there is a reason why cartels (or monopolies) in RL are frowned upon...i.e. they put themselves above the law.

I don't like it and wouldn't use this service. I can only think that the players who buy things from these "entrepreneurs" value the goods more than their money. Nothing wrong with that...just that I don't like it.
