Interesting list...I agree with some of it, but not all of it. I also think there will be classes that we don't know about yet. I have set out your list with my additions (yellow) and omissions (magenta) below.

Halfling - Rogue, Warrior, Cleric, Druid, Wizard
Human - Rogue, Warrior, Cleric, Druid, Enchanter, Wizard, Magician, Necromancer, Paladin, Shadow Knight, Ranger.

Thanks Raya, but I am probably waaay off. I would not be suprised though if we do see at least a couple specialized classes that are only availble to only one race in Vanguard. I look at that as a positive but I am sure many more will view that in a negative manner.

I know the lore only goes so far, but in The Outcast there was talk of the elite dwarf scouts, which sounded similar to the human ranger organization. Perhaps scout will be a separate class along the lines of a rogue/ranger archetype. Or perhaps I'm reading too much into the lore. :p

Here are the races I would like to see be able to be Bards:

Human, High Elf, Halfling, Mordebi Human, Kurashasa, Wood elf, Half Elf

Throw in just for kicks, Vulmane and Gnomes.

Not many people touch on the Inquisitor's class for races...
What races do you think the Inquisitor will be available for?

Personally I'd love to see any race be able to pick any class but I know that won't happen hehehe. The races I tend to perfer in games are dwarves and Elves. I tend to shy away from humans.

My Past characters:
EQ1 Wood Elven Druid and Frogluk Cleric
EQ2 Dwarven Druid
WoW Dwarven Warrior, Gnomish Mage and Night Elven Druid

The only games I ever played a human in were SWG and DAoC.

I really do love the huge list of races and classes though. So many choices. I just hope they are lots of character slots lol

Sadly, I see nothing about pet classes here. Have I missed something?

The closest we've gotten to confirmation about pets for any particular class is the Necromancer class. They will use something called Constructs. The implications there are pretty huge, and devs have said that they think Necros are going to be really really cool.

Other than that, there have been some sneaky little hints that many classes will be able to have pets. Perhaps even all of them. The question is on how large a part those pets will play. Is a 'pet' an animal? A hireling? A henchman? Who knows.

They took the summoner away and in one post a Dev said this was because having the summoner in the game hindered the necromancer, and now the necro would be the single class with pets. Maybe I read too deep into that.

Take this quote from a while back from Brad and do with it what you will :

Can we hire guards and stuff while were away! my poor merchant will die ill come back to see his carcase on the floor and my wife in his pants oh deer me!

Most likely yes -- that will be part of the 'henchmen' system, which is an extention of the greater pet system (you have transient pets, permanent pets that stay with you, ones you can assign to locations, etc.)

Granted, this is from March. So things may have changed a bit. But it sure sounds to me like pets will be more than just a 1 or 2 class thing. It sounds more like a question of scale in how much a pet is used by a particular class, rather than if they use them.

Along those lines,

I am hoping that each race is allowed to play all the archtypes, tank types, dps types, Arcane, Healer..

my friends and I want to have an all gnome fellowship going and it would really really blow big monkey chunks if we couldnt have a gnome tank type!

Hey cool there where a lot more stuff discussed earlier than I knew about.

A real, pure Summoner class would be a nice addition. Maybe they could even subclass it; into one melee tank pet, one rogue dps pet, and one magic dps pet.
